"Again, TV5 and Wil Productions express profound regret for any insensitivity on their part, and wish to thank all those who have expressed concern. We are always grateful to be reminded of our obligations to the viewing public," TV5 said in an official statement regarding the latest issue facing its primetime program, Willing Willie.

(CLICK HERE to read related article.)

"Like most contestants on the show, Jan-Jan, accompanied by his aunt, joined the program to showcase his talent and play in a game segment in the hope of bringing home big prizes. He has performed in the past in school programs and mall contests, and his performance in Willing Willie was completely voluntary and with the blessings of his parents," saad ng pahayag.

"Mr. Willie Revillame, the producers of Willing Willie and TV5 sincerely and deeply apologize for the segment of the show featuring 6-year-old Jan-Jan Suan which viewers may have found offensive or in bad taste. We wish to stress that there was never any intention to humiliate or abuse Jan-Jan or any contestant on the show.

"Willing Willie is a program that was conceptualized to bring joy and hope and shine the spotlight on ordinary Filipinos. The program aims to provide a venue for everyone to show their talents, tell their stories and make their dreams come true. This is the thrust of everyone involved in the program, particularly its host, Willie Revillame.

"Like most contestants on the show, Jan-Jan, accompanied by his aunt, joined the program to showcase his talent and play in a game segment in the hope of bringing home big prizes. He has performed in the past in school programs and mall contests, and his performance in Willing Willie was completely voluntary and with the blessings of his parents.

"He appeared to be sad or even in tears, not because he was being forced to dance, but because he felt the dance was "serious" and he was playing a role. He did not want to smile because of his missing upper front teeth and because of the presence on the set of former basketball player Bonel Balingit who Jan-Jan thought was a scary 'giant.'

"Again, TV5 and Wil Productions express profound regret for any insensitivity on their part, and wish to thank all those who have expressed concern. We are always grateful to be reminded of our obligations to the viewing public.

"In turn, we hope to make clear that the objective of the show has always been to bring joy and hope to Filipinos, whether they are participating in the show or viewing at home."

JAN-JAN RETURNS.

calling MTRCB, these filipino host willie revillame is an example of irresponsible tv personality and of course, sagot din yan ng TV5 dahil yan ang home ni willie. all of the things that u show on tv could easily spread all over the world dahil ng internet. if u will analyze what youve seen on that show, u would really have an impression that willie is promoting such kind of talent dahil sa paulit-ulit nya pinagawa sa bata yun...he really had fun, which shows irresponsibily without thinking abt the message it sends to the people who watch the show.

asalkalye, oo nga, talent ng bata ang sumayaw but for heaven's sake...bakit naman yung ganung klase ng sayaw ang itinuro sa kanyang gawin? do u often see such kind of dance on tv na paslit ang gumagawa? yan ang sayaw ng mga macho dancers sa mga gay bars for ur info. and it is a child abuse dahil hindi naman sasayawin ng bata yun kundi itinuro sa kanya and of course with a malice, ang portrayal nga eh macho dancer na may halong pag-iyak eh di ba? inabuso nila nag kainosentihan ng bata, the child dont even know na yung ipinasayaw sa kanya ay pang gay bars na sayaw and it suggest sexual thingy. ang mga bata mostly in such early age ay sumusunod lang sa utos ng matatanda. abuso yun coz they took advantage of his naiveness. as i said, it attracts pedopilya.

diamondareforever, thanks sa comment mo. di rin ako nanonood ng willing willie, i jst saw that on youtube after i read this article. at kahit free na panoorin ang willing willie online ay di ko sya pinapanood coz watching it means im supporting the show as well as willie. nung nasa wowowee pa sya sa ABS, madalas ko sya panoorin pero naturn off ako sa maraming dahilan, isa na yung inalis nya si lara quigaman sa show dahil sa personal interest ni willie. i would always got offended kapag may pinapahiya, pinapagalitan si willie na staff nya in front of many viewers. dati kong boss si MVP, he's a businessman oo but so sad na parang gahaman sya sa pera for hiring willie. inisip nya ang pera daw na iaakyat ni willie sa company nya, he didn't think abt the values of filipinos.

Umpisa na ito. Willy will never change. He is always contented pag makabastos siya. USER....

tv5 has apologized it means something went wrong on that program so whats the point of defending this predator if the company themselves admitted their mistake.
