"It really doesn't matter kahit pang-sampung choice pa ako. At least sa character na ito, naisip pa din nila ako at ang pangalan ko na mag-play ng role na ito. It's not really a big deal kung pang-ilan ka. What's important is ako yung nakuha at ako yung gumaganap," says Camille Prats about being the second choice to play Sandra/Susan in Munting Heredera.

Pagkatapos niyang gumanap bilang kontrabida sa highly-successful early primetime series na Bantatay, isang lead role ang ibinigay ng GMA-7 sa dating child star na si Camille Prats.

Ito ay sa bagong primetime series na Munting Heredera. Gagampanan niya rito ang papel ni Sandra/Susan, ang ina ng nawawalang tunay na heredera.

Hindi nga raw inaasahan ni Camille na ganun kalaki pala ang role na gagampanan niya sa teleseryeng ito ng Kapuso network.

"I wasn't really aware of it. So, nabigla lang po ako and the same time, very happy and very excited na I'm back doing drama again," sabi ni Camille.

Nakausap ng PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) at iba pang press ang dating child star sa grand launch ng Munting Heredera noong Martes ng gabi, May 3, sa Studio 7 ng GMA Network Center.

Ang huling lead role na ginampanan ni Camille ay sa afternoon soap na Gaano Kadalas ang Minsan? noong 2008. Dito ay ginampanan niya ang role na unang ginampanan ni Vilma Santos sa 1982 film.

"But it was way back 2008, right after I gave birth," banggit niya.

"Tapos, for two years po, I was doing a lot of things din. Hindi rin ako ganun ka-active in showbiz.

"So, this is most likely my comeback in drama.

"So, siyempre, I'm very honored and very excited, and at the same time kinakabahan sa pressure na nakapatong sa amin."

Aminado naman si Camille na hindi siya ang original choice na gumanap bilang Sandra/Susan sa Munting Heredera.

Ang first choice na si Carmina Villarroel ay nag-back out dahil sa dami ng ginagawa nito.

Ani Camille, "What I heard po is that it was first offered to Ms. Carmina Villarroel.

"I think she's too busy doing other things also so she couldn't really do a soap opera.

"Then it was offered to me.

imo she's a good actress kaso lang tapos na yung panahon nya. GMA should look for young and fresh faces. yung homegrown that would be released pag "mature" na. with ABS, they really have an eye for stars with quality. sumusugal sila. look at MARA CLARA. sino ba magaakala na ang isang remake would lead the primetime race. young talents na may K sa pagarte. paisa isa nirerelease ng ABS mga talents nila to stardom. jessie mendiola in sabel, si lauren young in MSP...

mayaman nmn kase ang GMA...ginagastusan tlga nila ang mga shows para maging de kalidad na programa ang maibigay sa mga Pilipino...hinde nila tinitipid ang manunuod..d gaya sa ibang station na puro drama para nga naman makatipid..kung may fantaserye man sila nkakatawa nmn ung mga effects nakakahiyang mapanuod ng mga taga ibang bnsa haha example DYOSA lol!

srini 37 mataas na quality na pala sayo yung dyesebel na may tuhod at sa studio lang ang taping with matching malaking aquarium.. ang MUTYA sa dagat mismo ang shooting, totoong dagat hindi aquarium lang.. quality na sayo yun ha? bwahahahhaha

34 edric dapat sa abs cbn mo yan sabihin tignan mo ang fantaserye ng abs saka abs ang laki ng pag kakaiba ang GMA mataas ang quality while sa ABS CBN walang quality ang papanget ng effects.
