Napabalitang kay Iza Calzado unang inalok ang female lead role sa upcoming afternoon series ng GMA-7 na Sentensayada, pero tinanggihan ito umano ng aktres kaya napunta kay Bianca King.

Para malinawan ang mga bagay-bagay, ito ang itinanong ng PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) kay Iza nang nakausap namin siya sa farewell presscon ng I ♥ You Pare sa 17th floor ng GMA Network Center last Friday, May 20.

"Kasi, this came in two weeks ago," simula ng aktres.

"Of course, kami ng handler ko, before pa, tanggap kami, di ba?

"Yun bang 'O, Jun, kailangan kahit papaano may mga gagawin.'

"Tapos, Myra E (Iza's endorsement) kasi, I have to shoot something for them, so naka-plot out 'yan.

"And then, I have two more shoots for the next two weeks.

"So, the only day I can give them next week is one day, Wednesday, and then the week after, two days.

"E, June 6 na po ang airing [ng Sentensyada], so what am I gonna do? So, that's one thing.

"Second thing is I told Noel [Ferrer, Iza's manager], 'Noel, remember when I talked to Sir [Tony] Tuviera, I told him after I ♥ You Pare, I'll give Eat Bulaga! more time.'

"So, parang nahihiya naman ako na... He's a decent man, parang giving me a job...

"Not that the other thing is not a job, pero 'yon yun, e, it's my word kasi, e. Parang... it's one of the reasons.

"And then, sabi ko, kapag ganun kasi, you take it as, 'Okay, it's not for me, it's not for me.'

"And it was too quick na parang, maybe, sabi namin ni Noel, maybe there's something better. If not in the next month or two, it will happen.

"Kasi katulad nitong I ♥ You Pare, parang biglaan din, di ba? Hindi ko in-expect.
