Regine Angeles ranked No. 55 last year in the FHM 100 Sexiest Women of the World. This year she advanced to No. 19.

"It's so much better now," said Regine when PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) had the chance to interview her during presscon of FHM 100 Sexiest at Midas Hotel last July 2.

"The reason why I posed for FHM, kasi majority of people, hindi nila ako kilala. They would see me, but they don't know my name.

"Then with FHM, they did the part to tell my name. People would say, 'A, you're Regine pala. We don't know your name but we see you in TV.'

"So, that's the number one reason.

"Now, when I go out, people would say my name na. At yun ang magandang naidulot sa akin ng FHM. I'm really thankful for that."

Ang laki ng itinaas ng ranking niya.

"Nag-cover lang ako kaya siya tumaas. Pero sana pala, kinarir ko rin!" natatawa niyang sabi.

Feeling ni Regine, blessed daw siya na kahit kumain siya ng marami, hindi pa rin siya tumataba.

"I guess, it's in my genes. I'm really blessed that I hardly gain weight.

"Sometimes I even have to take supplements for me to gain weight. Kasi kapag sobrang puyat, lalong pumapayat and it doesn't look healthy.

"Before, my doctor even thought that I have hypothyroidism. Because I eat a lot but I don't gain much weight."

FREELANCER. Hindi exclusive si Regine to any network. Kahit may regular show siya sa TV5, ang Iskul Bukol, hindi raw siya nakatali rito.

"I'm a freelancer right now and I don't have any network. Kung sino ang gustong magbigay sa akin ng project. I am thankful," sabi niya.

"I'm a freelancer. Para kahit saang istasyon, puwede ako. Nagtatrabaho ako sa iba't ibang istasyon.
