I'm in a happy place," says Congresswoman Lucy Torres-Gomez on finding her balance in show business.

I really cannot take on the same load I had.

"So, umabot yung time na walang araw na wala akong trabaho, which wasn't healthy.

Dati kasi it was a regular show. Parang dalawang regular shows na sabay.

"Wala na akong oras sa sarili ko. Puro na lang work. If not for the district, for showbiz [naman]. Puro gano'n.

I'm in a happy place," paglilinaw pa niya.

2,thats the reality my Dear, in fact one aspirant candidate is not allowed for Presidency unless he or she has the resources for the campaign materials. Politics is synonymous to Showbiz coz it affects the public! BTW, your aiming for the IDEAL which is too far to acquire especially with the situation the World is facing nowadays... and thats the REAL THING! okies?

Obviously showbiz-politicos still need showbiz to be visible to a wider public and to advance their political careers. Even non-showbiz politicians inch themselves to the entertainment business or to showbiz personalities to gain media mileage. Makes sense though, especially that majority of our voters based their voting decisions on popularity and not on what the politician is capable of doing.
