Staying away from the limelight is Danica Sotto's personal choice.

At the Proudly Promama Fair of Wyeth on September 3, the mom who's set to give birth to baby number two tells PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) that family has been her priority since she got married.

"Siguro kasi, we really have to...alam mo yung i-etablish ko muna yung marriage ko, na talagang yung roots...

"Di ba sabi nga nila, kailangan talaga na malalim muna yung talagang samahan ninyo.

"Parang nagi-guilty din ako na kakakasal pa lang namin 'tapos alam mo yun, magkikita kami, pauwi ako, paalis siya, 'yong gano'n. So, parang ang hirap din," she explains.

Danica adds that her three-year-old boy and the baby girl she's expecting, are the reasons why she had to shun the offers coming her way.

"Parang ang inano ko lang kasi is, sinabi ko sa sarili ko, sandali lang din kasi yung time na ganyan sila yung maliit.

"Sabi ko, siguro focus muna ako and then if me dumating na work in showbiz that suits the lifestyle, why not?"

MISSING SHOWBIZ. But she admits missing showbiz.

Before marrying cager Marc Pingris in 2007, she was part of the sitcom Daddy Di Do Du and also played Valentina in an episode of Komiks.

"Nami-miss ko kasi parang hindi rin naman ako yung, okay lang sa akin yung mga puyatan kasi love ko naman ginagawa ko. I miss also doing yung mga kontrabida na ginagawa ko before, sa mga soaps dati, nami-miss ko rin."

Eventually, she would like to go back, "pero baka pag medyo siguro, ilang taon na yung mga bata." And when that happens, she wants to pursue drama more seriously.

The daughter of Vic Sotto and Dina Bonnevie relates, "Ang dami nga nag-a-ask parang gusto ko ba ulit acting, as in acting...

"I wanna do something more siguro mom-oriented or something about womanhood, ganyan. Tingin ko siguro soap puwede or yung mga movie movie ganyan."

For now, she will focus on her role as a wife and mother.
