Jiro Manio to be released from drug rehab center in six months' time

It is expected that the award-winning child actor Jiro Manio will be released from the drug rehabilitation facility in Antipolo City in six months' time.

It is expected that award-winning former child actor Jiro Manio will be released from a drug rehabilitation facility in Antipolo City in six months' time.

According to ABS-CBN News, Jiro is now halfway through his drug rehabilitation program.

It can be recalled that Jiro voluntarily entered a rehabilitation facility March this year to address his drug problem, which made him take a temporary hiatus from his showbiz career. (CLICK HERE to read related article.)

Last June 2009, Jiro was axed from the roster of Star Magic talents and removed from ABS-CBN's now defunct teleserye Tayong Dalawa. (CLICK HERE for related article.)

Jiro is recognized as one of the country's finest young actors of his time. He has received a few citations for his exemplary acting.

Jiro became one of the youngest to be named Best Actor at the Gawad Urian for his movie Magnifico in 2004.

He also bagged the Best Child Actor plum for the Maryo J. de los Reyes-directed movie in the 53rd FAMAS Awards.

Jiro's last TV project was GMA-7's Pilyang Kerubin.

ang bait bait ni God sayo, nung una sa ABS hindi nila agad pinatay yung character mo kasi hinintay ka nila yun nga lang inabot na ng ending di ka pa umayos tapos GMA binigyan ka din ng chance sana ngayon umayos kana sayang ang chances some people simply wishes for a chance ikaw madami na ang dumating ingatan mo na.

talagang mabait ang Diyos at binigyan ka pa ng pagkakataon na mabago ang iyong buhay. Wag mong sisihin ang sarili mo sa nangyari sa iyo, sapagkat nasusulat iyan na mangyayari sa iyo. Artista ka kaya kungbaga iyan ang role na dapat mong gampanan sa buhay. Ayaw ko naman na sabihin sa iyo na magbago ka na. Ang kapalaran ang magpapabago ng iyong landas na tatahakin, iyon nga lang dapat at nasa wasto kang pagiisip.

sayang n bata 2..pero my pagkakataon kpa..at sana mabigyan ka ulit ng isang de kalidad n movie n mag aangat sau ulit...gustong gusto kita sa magnifico..tuwing pinapanood ko un umiiyak pa din ako....

this is just sad. He knows, he's aware that he needs to change his life back into the right direction. He said that himself. But no one's there to actually help him and guide him, after all he is still a child even if he already has a kid. I actually pity him. He is a talented actor but...this happens.

sayang ang batang ito!!!sino ba ang nagturo sayo???paglabas mo focus mo ang sarili mo sa mga sports at kung maari huwag ka ng makisama sa dati mong kaibigan na gumagamit ng droga.buhay mo yan karapatan mong pumili ng kaibigan.
