Maikli lang ang naging pahayag ni Toni Gonzaga sa The Buzz kahapon, Sunday, September 25, nang tanungin ng co-host niyang si Boy Abunda kung ano kanyang panig sa panibagong isyu sa kanila ni Mariel Rodriguez.

Kaugnay ito ng text message daw ni Mariel sa entertainment columnist at talk show host na si Ricky Lo na "Toni can't stand her [Mariel]." Na parang pina-plastic lang daw ni Toni si Mariel.

Ang lumalabas pa, si Toni ang isa sa mga dahilan kung bakit nagdesisyon si Mariel na umalis sa noontime show ng ABS-CBN na Happy Yipee Yehey! at lumipat sa TV5.

Sabi ni Toni sa The Buzz, "I've learned about this, I think Wednesday [September 21] no'ng na-publish 'yon. I texted Mariel right away.

"Sabi ko, 'What happened?' Because before she stopped attending Happy Yipee Yehey!, we had a good talk... We are okay.

"Actually, up to now, we're still okay. So, I don't know where all these [intrigues] are coming from.

"And, uhm... of course, kung anuman ang napag-usapan namin ni Mariel, sa amin na lang 'yon.

"Pero, this is to assure everyone na Mariel and I, we're okay. We are on speaking terms.

"Hindi na mauulit 'yong dati na inakalang meron kaming misunderstanding o may rift. Wala pong gano'n ngayon.

"Kung ano po 'yong nangyari diyan at kung ano po ang nabasa natin, I don't think I can answer for Mariel.

"But for myself, I will not say anything against Mariel because sa halos limang taon na nakasama ko si Mariel, she has been [like] a sister to me.

"And like what I always say to her... I will always wish the best for her."

MORE CLARIFICATION. After the show, nilapitan ng PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) si Toni para sa karagdagang mga katanungan hinggil sa usapin na naman na ito sa pagitan nila ni Mariel.

"Magkausap kami kahapon," aniya.

"Okey kami. Manonood nga siya ng concert ko."

Wow, punong puno ang Araneta. Sold out ang concert ng Ultimate Multimedia Star. Maski may bashers dito, you can tell na maraming nagmamahal kay Toni. Mariel, you reap what you sow. Maski anong gawin mo, maski saang network ka lumipat, maski pa sa ibang planeta, kung marami kang tinapakan at ininsulto, mahirap nang ibangon ang reputasyon mo, maski pa anong damage control ang gawin mo. Maski anong demolition job ang gawin mo dahil sa inggit, hindi uubra. Pati ang manager mo na si Boy Abunda, sumuko na rin sa iyo.

Masyadong over rated itong si Toni Gonzaga. Ang lakas ng loob na mag concert sa Araneta na hindi naman magandang kumanta. Kaya naman sang katutak ang mga guests para hindi mahalata na hindi siya ang dahilan kaya papanooring ang concert. Kung siya lang at yung kapatid niya lalangawin ang Araneta.

Trisha207, comment no 16, I agree. Word is that Mariel will not be part of PBB. Si Toni rin, natanggal rin noong 2006 sa PBB pero wala kang maririnig na negative comments against her co-hosts. Unfortunately, hindi lang si Toni ang ininsulto ni Mariel. Most of them have not forgiven. To name a few, KC. Luis, Anne and even Kris Aquino. MARIEL, YOU REAP WHAT YOU SOW.

Plain and simple. The green eyed monster is eating Mariel. Chip on her shoulder, sour graping, jealousy. Toni has a lot of projects and Mariel has NONE. Who would want to give a project to a talentless backstabber. She was given a chance lately in Wansapanataym and it was a disaster. ABS-CBN was just kind enough not to say anything. Mariel's contract expired and with all the negative publicities and negative comments from readers and viewers, the network most likely decided to give her a short term and interim contract. This is business and Mariel, for the longest time, has used her brother in law Freddie Garcia as a weapon. Unfortunately for her, this time, it did not work. Good luck to her. No matter where she goes, if people don't like her, then her downfall is unavoidable. Her daownfall also is her own doing.

previously Mariel said in an article that the reason for the ongoing negotiation with TV5 is that her services with ABS was not secured by a contract..now after a couple of weeks she has a new reason..why so inconsistent.OK na sana, binago pa napaghahalata tuloy yung intention mo especially so ngayun na nag refuse mag comment yung friend mo..ikaw na naman ang nalagay sa alanganin..haaaayyyyy.
