Last Wednesday, ginanap ang press night para sa musical play na Peter Pan: The Musical Adventure sa Meralco Theater.
After the show, tumanggap ng standing ovation ang buong cast from the press at ilang friends na unang nakapanood ng well-loved classic fairy tale.
Two months din daw na nag-prepare at nag-rehearse si Sam for his role as Peter Pan.
"We worked on it for about two months. Pero, yung flying scenes, two weeks before the show [ni-rehearse].
"It was the time na lumipat na kami sa Meralco Theater.
"We were trained pa by people from abroad. They came here to train us with the flying scenes. They flew in from Las Vegas."
Ang The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe daw ang una niyang sinalihang play.
His last was Noah.
When asked if he auditioned for the role of Peter Pan, "I think, they already had me in mind when they got the rights," sagot ni Sam.
"So, when they told me about it. I said yes, right away," patuloy pa niya.
"It's a lot of fun to do. Especially, delivering a timeless story to the audience, and doing it over and over again is fun.
"And as a kid, I guess, we're all fond of Peter Pan. We can all relate to his story."
