Derek Ramsay on "tempting" offer from TV5: "I have been approached, yes. But like what I've said, I won't entertain anything unless my contract is expired. So, even with ABS, di pa ako nakipag-upo para makipag-negotiate for a new contract. But with the other network, wala pang specific na bigay [offer] sa akin, contrary sa mga lumabas. I'm not closing any doors, we'll see what happens. February pa naman yun [expiration of my contract with ABS-CBN]."

Kung magtutuluy-tuloy ang magandang performance sa takilya ng No Other Woman, hindi malayong hiranging Box-Office Queens of 2011 sina Anne Curtis at Cristine Reyes.

At ang male lead ng pelikula na si Derek Ramsay naman ang malamang hiranging Box-Office King.

At press time, ayon sa Star Cinema ay naka-P130 million na ang nasabing pelikula sa isang linggo pa lang nito sa mga sinehan.

Ang Star Cinema at Viva Films ang producers ng pelikula.

Sa victory party ng No Other Woman noong Miyerkules, October 5, sa 9501 restaurant ng ABS-CBN, nakapanayam ng PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) si Derek.

Walang pagsidlan ang kagalakan ng hunky actor sa tagumpay ng kanilang pelikula.

"I'm still on a high... nung sinabi nila kung gaano kadami ang nanonood.

"I watched from the first showing sa Rockwell. Pagpunta ko dun, nagtingin-tingin pa 'ko sa mga stores [bago pumasok ng sinehan].

"Pero pagdating namin dun sa cinema, ang haba nung pila!

"At first time kong nakita ang Rockwell nang ganun.

"Lahat ng nakapila, ang sabi nila, 'We're watching your movie.'

"Dun lang tumama sa akin na, 'Wow, napaka-ano naman ng reaction ng mga tao, nakaka-overwhelm!'

"Tapos, every day, I get texts, tweets... Even my sister who is in Lanao del Sur, nag-tweet pa sa akin kanina.

"Nanood sila at puno pa rin ang mga cinemas. So, I'm still on that high.

"Hindi pa rin ako makapaniwala na it's doing so well."

hello..purihin daw ba ang SM eh viva din ang producer nyan..makapagyabang lang talaga oh!!! pero tama sila derek wag ka na munang lumipat at ngayon palang nag-uumpisa ang pagganda ng career mo...nagsisimula pa lang ang tv5 kaya tsambahan pa kung kakagatin ng publiko ang mga serye nila..pirata dito..pirata doon....ang ginagawa nila kaya makinig ka sa mga payo ng nakararami..kahitmay tampo ka sa ABS wag ka ng lumipat ikaw na ang susunod kay mr. cruz sa pagiging best LM-tunay- sa abs.goodluck and more power!!!

Hindi kaya nalulugi ang TV5 sa kakaalok ng malaking TF sa mga talents ng kalabang stations? Wala naman silang mga shows na nag-click. Kumusta na ang career ni Aga, Maricel, Ruffa, LT, Richard, etc, nag soar ba o nag sour?

nag open siya dito sa hawaii today, i watched it first thing in the morning dahil alam kong mapupuno siya sa gabi. sure enough lahat ng oras na showing siya is sold out, buong weekend sold out na, nabili na online ang tickets, kaloka! may sign na nakalagay sa takilya ng No Other Woman SOLD OUT. people are happy palakpakan sila pagkatapos. congratulations sa star cinema at kay derek,anne at cristin.

No, Derek, you shouldn't transfer to any other network. Stay where you are now, kase maganda mag hone ng acting skills ang network na yan. Hindi ka lang celebrity, you will be an ACTOR talaga. If I were you just stay were you at, huwag mong ipakita sa mga tao na pera lang ang gusto mo dahil lumipat ka. Ganyan talaga ang business pag gusto nilang pabagsakin ang isang network pirata ang gagawin nila sa mga employee nang network. Yan ang hirap sa atin madali tayong mauto sa promise. Mag sisisi ka Derek gumanda ang career mo dahil sa ABS mas nakilala ka dahil sa ABS. Sa ngayon pirata ang ginagawa nang TV5 pero pag oras na dumami na kayo doon walay na ang career mo.
