Charice's younger brother, Carl, prays that the person responsible for the death of his father will be brought to justice.

Ricky Pempengco died from multiple stab wounds before midnight Monday, October 31, in San Pedro, Laguna. (CLICK HERE to read related article.)

In an interview with Boy Abunda for the late-night news program Bandila, Carl said, "Ang dasal ko lang po ngayon, sana sumuko na po kung sino ang gumawa nun sa tatay ko.

"Saka sana po kung nasaan man ang  daddy ko, I hope masaya po siya kasama ng kuya ko, na namatay rin po nung pinanganak siya."

Since Ricky Pempengco's death hit the news media, there has been tension between the family of Charice and the relatives of their late father.

However, Carl says that they have already patched things up.

"Sana po dire-diretso na ang pagkakaayos between sa family ng daddy ko saka sa family namin." 

THE LAST TIME. Asked when Carl saw his father last, Carl disclosed: "Three years ago po...seconds lang [ang pagkikita].

"Hindi ko siya nakilala. Nakipag-appear siya sa akin.

"Na-realize ko lang na siya yun nung nakauwi na po kami.

"[Nakita ko siya] sa isang event na kinantahan ni Ate [Charice]."

How did he learn that the man was his father?

"Sinabi ng isa naming kasama," said Carl.

THE CONFIRMATION. What was his initial reaction when he learned about his father's death?

"Pina-confirm sa akin ng mommy ko earlier this morning, 6:30 [a.m.].
