In the upcoming psycho-thriller of GMA Films titled The Road, Ynna Asistio will play a labandera or washerwoman who becomes involved in the gruesome events that take place in a haunted street.

During the press conference held yesterday, November 9, Ynna said that her character will be featured in the second part of the Yam Laranas movie that will open in cinemas by November 30.

NADIA-ANNABELLE DISPUTE. Ynna also took the opportunity to talk to PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) and other entertainment media about the ongoing dispute between her Nadia Montenegro and Annabelle Rama.

Nadia Montenegro is Ynna's mother; her father is Boy Asistio, former mayor of Caloocan City.

Ynna's showbiz career is being handled by Annabelle Rama.

But over the past few weeks, Nadia and Annabelle have had a legal battle going on.

Nadia has sued Annabelle for various charges.

Last September 30, Nadia accused Annabelle of "child abuse" for allegedly making her children, who are minors, work for over 40 hours a week even during school days. (CLICK HERE to read related article.)

Then last October 21, Nadia accused the talent manager of falsifying the management contracts of her daughters. (CLICK HERE to read related article.)

The latest case filed by Nadia on October 28 was a libel case against Annabelle for her Twitter posts that are, in Nadia's words, "highly libelous, offensive and felonious." (CLICK HERE to read related article.)

As a result, Nadia wants to end the management contract of daughters Alyanna Asistio, 17, and Annika Asistio, 15.

Meantime, Annabelle maintains that she will face the charges filed against her, but that she will not release the children until the court decides on their cases.

YNNA WANTS OUT. Ynna admitted that she also wants to stop being a ward of Annabelle.
