Janice de Belen says Budoy role renewed her passion for acting; has no lovelife to speak of now

Janice de Belen on being loveless: "Alam n'yo minsan, kapag na-in love ka kasi, madi-divide ang attention mo between, of course, your personal life and your career. Right now, I have renewed passion for my career. Dito muna ako. Tama na muna ako dito."

Masasabing ang 2011 ang isa sa pinakamagandang taon para sa aktres na si Janice de Belen.

Isa sa malaking dahilan nito ay ang pagkakasali niya sa primetime series ng ABS-CBN, ang Budoy, kunsaan hinahangaan ang kanyang pagganap bilang kumupkop kay Budoy (Gerald Anderson).

Ang Budoy ang unang proyekto ni Janice nang bumalik siya sa bakuran ng Kapamilya network.

Ayon kay Janice, "Alam mo, every blessing, every job, is bongga kasi blessing 'yan. 

"So, okay naman ako. Kasi 2011, siguro may extra-bongga."

Dagdag pa niya, "Moving station is not easy.

"Parang buhay yun. Yung transition. 

"Hindi mo alam kung ano ang mangyayari, di ba? Minsan surprise. 

"Pero pleasant surprise naman ito because I was entrusted with a good project like Budoy. 

"I'm very happy with the project. I love the project.

"In fact, sabi nga ni Popoy [Caritativo, her manager], 'Baka naman masyado mo nang minamahal yung proyektong 'yan.'

"Ewan ko...makikita mo sa performance.

"Mahal ko yung show, e. And I'm really happy."

Nakausap ng PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) si Janice sa Christmas party for the press ng Luminary Talent Management sa Annabelle's restaurant kahapon, December 8.

Isa si Janice sa talents ng Luminary na pinamamahalaan ni Popoy Caritativo. Kasama niya rito sina Marian Rivera, Dennis Trillo, Martin Escudero, AJ Dee, at Jestoni Alarcon.

    yan ang sinasabi ko talaga na iba ang PROFESSIONAL at PERSONAL SATISFACTION pag nagawa mo ang passion mo at naabot ang personal standards...aanhin mo ang malaking TF kung hindi man lang napansin ang acting skills. nagiging MEDIOCRE kung hinahayaan mong ibaba ang standards mo. To number 19, tama ka kc napansin ko rin yon c LT. Hindi ako mkapaniwala na tinanggap ang role na yon sa Zaido something, under-utilized skills nya doon...

    like ko na si janice since flordeluna days pa niya, kaya happy ako na nasa abs-cbn na siya. sa galing niya as an actress, tiyak na marami pa siyang susunod na project sa abs after budoy.. more power to janice and BUDOY

    i love Janice, and wherever she is, she delivers... unfortunately, OA nga daw sya sa budoy... well, what do we expect from a station and its fanatics who think crying and hysterics is considered acting...

    Im glad that they write an article about janice de belen,matagal ko ng inaabangan ito.Im watching budoy at tfc everyday at nadadala ako sa mga eksena,sana di ito ang huling project niya sa abs cbn since i cut off my subscription on gma.Gerald Anderson is great,tirso cruz and zha zha,dante rivero,and enrique gil performance is very good too.Congrats to all the cast and writers,director of the soap.

    I agree with No3 thirsty trooper. Sana bawasan ang pagngawa, di na maintindihan sinasabi ni Janice. But I like Budoy. Si Paolo Avelino din ang galing sa Ikaw Ay Pagibig. I like Yen Santos, too. she's a beauty, not the meztisa type.

    Perfect role talaga sayo ang Budoy Janice unlike sa mga basurang role na binibigay sayo dati sa GMA. Parang si Lorna Tolentino lang yan nung nasa GMA pa, nanay ba naman ng isang Zaido ang role. Musta naman yun mga te?

    no doubt sobrang galin niya lalo na nung scene nila na c budoy pinagbibintangan about sa sunog... heavy drama ang labaanan... n haba ng article ha pero d manlang kakaboring basahin hehe...

    BUDOY brings back Janice de Belen the actress...ang iyak nya nakakadala just like in her FLORDELUNA days...hindi nasayang ang desisyon nya to transfer. This is one example among artist who made the right decision...nagtransfer not because of how much yung talent fee na matangap kundi how good the project they will be in. NICE WORK JANICE...

    Budoy is the right project for her...lumalabas tlaga ung brilliance nya as an actress...ndi kc xa maxadong nabbgyan ng tamang roles sa GMA7 dahil puro fantaserye...great job janice!

    gusto ko yung acting nya sa Endless Love, actually lahat ng cast dun magagaling. anyway, si Janice, pag crying scene na sa EL subdued hindi OA. i don't know about Budoy kasi GMATV ako
