Tom Cruise wants to have parties around the world to celebrate his 50th birthday.
The Mission: Impossible: Ghost Protocol star is reaching the milestone age next year and plans to mark it in spectacular fashion with a series of celebrations across the globe.
He told US TV show Extra: "I'm gonna be 50 on July 3 and I think we'll have a big party. I'm gonna have a party in every country. I'm gonna go, 'Look, I'm 50, man! Where's my party?'"
While he is planning for a huge round of celebrations, they are not likely to take place on his actual birthday as Tom is scheduled to be filming then, but he insists he isn't upset about working on his big day.
He added: "We'll have parties somewhere, but I'm gonna be on the set on the actual day, and that's what I love doing."
Tom—who has five-year-old daughter Suri with wife Katie Holmes and adopted kids Isabella, 19, and Connor, 16, with former spouse Nicole Kidman—is also planning to pitch in with the cooking over the festive season, although he will concentrate on breakfast for his family rather than the traditional roast dinner.
He said: "The family gets together and cooks breakfast, and everyone pitches in—I'm not a slouch.
"I'm not a gourmet chef, but I can whip up some eggs.
"We are gonna chill. We like taking those times.
"We really just all hang together and play games.
"We're all just going to have a really nice, quiet time."
