Marie Glen Abraham, four (4) Jhon Does from the Philippine National Police, at Jhon Doe from Prosecutor's Office of Quezon City."
Sa complaint affidavit, binanggit na ang "attempted kidnapping" ay hindi lamang tungkol sa "imprisonment of a person but also the deprivation of his liberty in whatever form and for whatever length of time.""
ANNABELLE'S ACCOUNT OF THE DECEMBER 6 INCIDENT.
"While at the lobby of IPS, the group of respondent Nadine was approached by Mr. Nelson Canlas ("Mr. Canlas"), a reporter from GMA-7.
"Initially, Mr. Canlas, talked to respondent John Doe policeman and inquired if they have a warrant of arrest.
"However, the respondent John Doe policeman replied, "Sir, Wala po.
"Once more, Mr. Canlas inquired from respondent John Doe policeman whose orders they were following, but at this point, the policemen avoided his questions.
"Seeking answers, Mr. Canlas turned to the older man in civilian clothes and inquired if he is a policeman.
"He then introduced himself as a representative from the Quezon City Prosecutor's Office.
"Thereafter, Mr. Canlas asked him if he has a warrant of arrest or any form of writing that they can legally make me go with them.
"Respondent John Doe, a representative of the Prosecutor's Office, explained that they are just there to invite me [Annabelle], and avoided his question."
Ayon sa complaint affidavit ni Annabelle, "Subsequently, respondent Nadine [Nadia] came to the scene and Mr. Canlas asked the reason for her presence.
"However, Ms. Montenegro's response was that she is going to look for me so that the policeman can 'bring' me to the precinct.
"Moreover, after several minutes Mr. Canlas was informed by respondent Nadine that they are going to the police station near the Quezon City Hall to file charges."
Humingi ng permiso si Nadia na paakyatin sila sa fourth floor "in order to arrest me [Annabelle] and forcibly take me with them."
"Not satisfied, respondents waited for an hour outside the building to in order to implement their illegal desire to deprive me of my liberty.
"While the aforesaid incident was transpiring, I was on my way to my office for several scheduled meeting when I got a call from Ms. Lily Monteverde ('Ms. Moneteverde') informing me not to proceed to my office as the respondents were waiting in the area to arrest me.
"To my shock and surprise, I asked Ms. Monteverde if they are duly authorized to do so, but her response was that the group was not able to present any authority, thus they were disallowed entry into the building.
"Alarmed by the sheer arrogance of the group, I decided not proceed to my office and just waited around the area.
"Accordingly, had Ms. Monteverde not warned me of the impending illegal arrest to be made by respondents in order to deprive me of my liberty, they could have accomplished their evil intent, and taken me with force and intimidation to an unknown destination."
"LOST TRUST."
Ang sabi niya sa affidavit, "I have lost trust and confidence in the Quezon City Prosecutor's Office, I will seek a change of venue at the soonest time."
Ang saad niya sa complaint affidavit, "I have been receiving reliable reports that I am sure to lose all cases in Quezon City filed by Nadine, since she has 'connections' in the Prosecutor's Office. These were TOLD to me by several persons."
GETTING IN TOUCH WITH THE PEOPLE INVOLVED.
Abraham.
Dalawang text messages na ipinadala kay Atty. Abraham—kagabi, 10:39 p.m., at kanina, 8:14 a.m.—subalit wala pa itong sagot.
