On December 26, the Brazilian-Japanese model turned TV host and comedian Fabio Ide will turn a year older.
He will celebrate his 25th birthday a day after Christmas.
Maraming gustong ipagpasalamat si Fabio sa mga magagandang nangyari sa kanyang career nitong 2011.
Naging pinaka-busy year ni Fabio ang 2011, kung saan nagkasunud-sunod ang kanyang TV shows sa GMA-7.
Naging co-host siya ng Comedy Bar kasama sina Eugene Domingo at Allan K; naging segment host siya ng entertainment show na Tweetbiz; nakasama siya sa sitcom na Andres de Saya; at nakasama rin siya sa cast ng telefantasyang Dwarfina.
Yun nga lang, nawala na sa ere ang mga nabanggit na shows.
Ayon kay Fabio, "It was definitely a busy year for me, and I am very thankful to God because I was able to make people happy, make people laugh.
"Yun naman ang gusto ko, e, kasi funny person ako in real life.
"I'm happy to have done all those shows because I was able to save up and do some travelling.
"Kasi ngayon, wala na lahat ng shows na 'yan.
"It's a good thing that I know how to save and spend my earnings well."
Nakausap ng PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) si Fabio sa thanksgiving dinner ng Mercator Model and Artist Management ni Jonas Gaffud kamakailan.
Plano pala sana ni Fabio na umuwi sa Brazil para makasama ang kanyang pamilya for Christmas.
Pero nag-decide itong ipagpaliban na lang ang pag-uwi niya next year dahil magkakasunod ang mga shows na ginagawa niya ngayong holiday season.
"It was really my plan to fly to Brazil and be with my family.
"I haven't seen them in such a long time. I think it's been a year now.
"I miss our traditional Christmas dinner at home. I always look forward to what my family will be preparing.
"But unfortunately, hindi ako puwede umalis because I have work.
"I already called my family and told them that I can't fly home this Christmas.
"But I will see them next year. Sure na 'yon," sabi niya.
MY BELOVED.Bukod sa corporate shows na ginagawa niya, magsisimula na ring mag-taping si Fabio para sa bagong GMA-7 primetime series na My Beloved, kung saan bida sina Dingdong Dantes at Marian Rivera.
Sisimulan na rin ang pelikulang Desperados ng Regal Entertainment, at dito ay makakasama niya sina Daniel Matsunaga, JC Tiuseco, at Ervic Vijandre.
"I am happy because at the start of 2012, may trabaho kaagad!" natatawang sabi ni Fabio.
"Although I have one show now on GMA News TV, which is Sarap @ Home, it's good news that I have another one and then may movie pa!
"So, it's a blessing that I am once again very thankful for."
So, ano pa kaya ang puwedeng maging wish ni Fabio sa mismong birthday niya?
"I wish that the blessings keep on coming!" ngiti niya.
"Aside from that, I also wish for good health for me and my family.
"Meet more good people in this business and learn more Tagalog. Gusto ko maging fluent na in Tagalog."
Wala siyang wish para sa personal life niya?
Ani Fabio, "You mean lovelife? Well, I am dating somebody right now.
"She's a longtime friend and nothing serious for now. Just friendly dating.
"We still don't know where it would lead us.
"But I want to concentrate more on my career and I promise myself to not be distracted from work.
"So, hanggang dating lang muna tayo."
