Prepare to be amazed by mind-boggling tricks via a new TV show every Sunday night. Mystery? Magic? Science!

To be hosted by professional basketball player Chris Tiu—in tandem with model Isabelle Daza plus the Moymoy Palaboy duo—the science events show will air starting January 29, at GMA-7. (Philippine Entertainment Portal) had the chance to interview the national athlete, entrepreneur, youth icon, barangay councilor and TV personality Chris Tiu about his new show.

How is this show different from his previous hosting stint, the local version of Ripley's Believe It or Not?

"Magkaiba siya dahil, yung Ripley's Believe It or Not, yung features niya, ano e... world-wide stories ng mga unbelievable events, di ba?"

The show is an adaptation of the Robert Ripley franchise which showcases incredible, almost unbelievable, items, experiments, and events that have occurred anywhere in the world.

"Eto naman, yung iBilib: Wonders of Horus, yung material galing Japan, and yung mga pinapakita dito, akala mo magic, magical features.

"Pero sa totoo, mga ano pala siya, science experiments," Chris Tiu explains.

Chris expects viewers to be awed and mystified by the video clips of various amazing acts and experiments that seem to defy logic.

In the end, he says, the show will provide scientific explanations for each event.

"So very...mawa-'wow' ka, mabibilib ka. Pero at the same time, may educational component siya."

A Management Engineering major who graduated with honors from the Ateneo de Manila University, Chris says he has always wanted a show that was informative and entertaining at the same time.

The 26-year-old is convinced that the show will get school children more interested in acquiring additional knowledge.

Chris added, "And this is an alternative means actually.
