Iza Calzado on being a Kapamilya: "With all humility, I'm ready to shine."

Iza Calzado on her decision to move to ABS-CBN: "Gusto kong mag-evolve. Gusto kong matuto. Hindi naman sa hindi ko magagawa yun sa dati kong network [GMA-7]. Pero alam ko na mas matsa-challenge ako, mas marami akong matututunan sa mga bagong tao na katrabaho ko kapag nga lumipat ako dito. New environment."

Nagsimula sa ASAP 2012 ang pagwe-welcome ng ABS-CBN kay Iza Calzado bilang isang Kapamilya kahapon, January 29.

Sinundan ito ng live interview niya sa The Buzz, kunsaan si Boy Abunda ang nag-interview sa kanya.

Nang i-welcome ni Boy si Iza, excited namang sinabi ng aktres na:

"Thank you, Tito Boy! I am so excited to be on The Buzz!

"Sorry, sorry ha...kasi pinapanood namin ng nanay ko 'to tuwing Linggo. Ten or twelve years ago pa.

"When she was still around, we will watch it tuwing Sunday."

Ang ina ni Iza ay ang yumaong si Mary Ann Ussher, na may dugong Irish/Spanish/Filipino.

IZA'S STATE OF MIND. Pagkatapos nito ay kinumusta ni Boy ang state of mind ni Iza at tinanong kung bakit siya lumipat.

"Ang state of mind ko kasi ngayon, at siguro doon na rin manggagaling ang rason kung bakit ako lumipat...

"Sinabi nga ng kaibigan kong si Chesca [Litton], gusto ko talaga ng bagong adventure.

"Gusto kong mag-evolve. Gusto kong matuto.

"Hindi naman sa hindi ko magagawa yun sa dati kong network [GMA-7].

"Pero alam ko na mas matsa-challenge ako, mas marami akong matututunan sa mga bagong tao na katrabaho ko kapag nga lumipat ako dito.

"New environment."

Dugtong pa ni Iza, "You know, I wanted to shake things up in my life.

pero god blessparin kay iza. sana nga hindi freezer ang kahantungan mo kasi maganda ka at magaling na aktres. kulang lang talaga sa mass appeal. true stars are the likes of kris aquino, marian rivera, regine velasquez, vic sotto, willie revillame, angel locsin, sharon cuneta, micheal v, vice ganda, sarah geronimo, charice pempengco, lea salonga yung either may napatunayan, malaki ang impluwensya, may true and solid fanbase, nagdadala ng ratings, nag-aakyat ng pera, may haters, or nagrereyna o naghahari. iyong ang totoong "star"

no.1 fan ako ni iza... and ayos lang na lumipat xia sa abs.. you see halos lahat ng kapamilya shows ngayon dominate ng kapuso talent...mundo man ay magunaw-empress shuck from encantadia... angelito-charrie pineda from impostora...maria la del barrio-jewel mische from starstruck and angel aquino from encantadia... e-boy-ariel rivera from atlantika... budoy-janice de belen from sis... walang hangan-dawn zulueta and richard g. from encantadia at si paolo avelino from starstruck..... idagdag pa c iza calzado, angel locsin, toni gonzaga, cristine reyes, anne curtis, karylle, billy crawford..... and many many more... almost half ng kapamilya stars ay may background sa pagiging kapuso... just showing na mas nakikita ng abs ang potential sa mga kapuso talents kaya sila namimirata.. i pity their homegrown talents.... pure kapams talents galingan nyo pa pra di madominate ng kapuso talents ang homenetwork nyo!!!!

Mmm..okay lng nman lumipat xa,pero she shud not expect that she will outshine Anne,Bea,Angel and other ABS leading ladies.Maganda c Iza pero mejo may edad na xa eh,tapos ang dami pang fresh faces ngayon sa ABS lyk Julia Montes and Kathryn Bernardo,xempre gus2 ng tao young and fresh.Dapat kse noon pa naisip ni Izza na lumipat kung gus2 nya tlga ng career growth, oh well, gudluck girl.

IZA is pretty and a very good actress. thanks to GMA Artist Center that honed her acting skills through the years.. i hope she will shine there in her new station. ABS CBN badly needs a talent like iza. best of luck to you!

truth be known, major reason sa paglipat ni Iza is wala na talaga siyang appeal. she's not that old pero mukha siyang matured for her age, therefore not a leading lady material. of course she can act and of course she's got a pretty face but there really is no OOOmmpphh. if you compare her to Angel Locsin, or Anne Curtis and Bea Alonzo, they'll win by a mile. yun lang naman.
