Rayver Cruz doesn't believe in hula.
Two feng shui personalities claimed that several breakups may possibly happen in showbiz this Year of the Dragon.
But the Kapamilya actor just gave his usual shy smile when asked to comment about the predictions.
"Pag maganda, naniniwala ako. Pag hindi, hindi..." he told PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) during the send-off party of Star Magic for Sam Milby.
The Star Magic talent said the success of a relationship depends on the couple, "Siguro nasa tao naman talaga siguro yun."
He also said that even the most compatible couples are not assured of a happily-ever-after ending.
He mused, "Ah siyempre ahm, ang hirap nga namang mag-isip ng...isipin na kayo na.
"Pero, kung maalagaan niyo naman relasyon niyo...Nasa inyong dalawa naman yun, di ba?
"Kung tatagal naman talaga iyan, bakit naman hindi."
His love life, according to the ASAP 2012 mainstay,is not a "problemado" area in his life.
He and Cristine have never had a big fight, although he admits they've had "tampuhan paminsan-minsan, pero normal lang yun."
"Okay naman kami," was his description of the status of their relationship.
The 22-year-old celebrity continued, "Yun nga, sobrang bonding kami dahil nga nag-New Year kami. Mas naging close kami sa bawat isa."
Showbiz observers began noticing that Cristine, known as a feisty star of VIVA, became less prone to controversies and intrigues since Rayver became her boyfriend.
"Sabi nga ng mga tao," Rayver said, smiling. "Ah, ano rin siya, e, parang...parang mas naging ano siya. Siguro mas naging, hindi ko alam, e..."
Rayver couldn't seem to find the right word, so he just added how "happy" he was about such a feedback.
"Happy naman ako na ganun nga, dahil hindi na siya masyadong controversy katulad ng dati...
"So ngayon, yung actions niya, sa kanila [mga tao] na rin nanggaling, so happy ako..."
Lastly, we asked if just like Sam Milby, does he have dreams of making it to Hollywood?
Rayver Cruz, who comes from a big entertainment industry family that includes Tirso Cruz III, said as a parting shot: "Kunin niya kaming extra!"
