Matapos manalong First Princess sa Miss World pageant last year, kaagad na binigyan ng break ng GMA-7 si Gwendoline Ruais. 

Isinabak siya sa paghu-host sa Party Pilipinas at sa iba pang mga programa ng Kapuso network.

Sabi ni Gwen, "They've been giving me a lot of opportunities.

"Aside from Party Pilipinas, I've been hosting sa Walang Tulugan. 'Tapos nga, guestings sa iba pang mga shows.

"They are coming up with a lot of opportunities for me... I'm doing Eat Bulaga! again.

"But the thing is, I'm tied with Miss World International. So, hindi ako puwedeng mag-sign ng GMA contract.

"Pero parang ni-negotiate namin na... the Miss Wolrd Organization gave their approval na I can sign with GMA.

"So, coming soon, magsa-sign na po ako sa GMA Artist Center. 

"Excited ako for that. And for sure kapag nag-sign na ako, mas maraming projects na."

Nakausap ng PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) si Gwen noong Linggo, February 12, sa set ng Party Pilipinas.

MISS WORLD DUTIES. Hindi lamang ang nanalong Miss World 2011 na si Ivian Lunasol Sarcos Colmenares ng Venezuela kundi pati ang mga runners-up din ay may duties sa charity projects ng Miss World Organization. 

Si Gwendoline, bilang first runner-up, at second runner-up na si Amanda Victoria Vilanova Perez ng Puerto Rico, ay magiging abala sa mga charity projects sa loob ng isang taon.

"We'll be travelling in different parts of the world. 

"I think we'll be leaving by March. Siyempre to support the various charity projects of the Miss World and to promote the pageant also.

"Next year, Miss World will gonna be held in Mongolia. So, I'll be very excited about that.
