GMA-7's Primetime Queen Marian Rivera placed 9th in the Top 10 International Beauties of 2012 based on a survey conducted by TopTenz.Net.

The blog entry described Marian as a "major star in the Philippines."

Though it wasn't explained thoroughly on the website how they chose the Top 10, Marian is the only Southeast Asian in the list.

Others who made it in the list are top international models and celebrities.

The number one spot was taken by Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, an English model and actress who appeared in the movie Transformers: Dark of the Moon.

The list also included the following:

No. 2 - Lara Stone, Dutch model;

No. 3 - Miranda Kerr, Australian model and wife of Hollywood actor Orlando Bloom;

No. 4 - Irina Shayk, Russian model and fiancée of Portuguese footballer Cristiano Ronaldo;

No. 5. - Katrina Kaif, Indian actress who's popular in Bollywood;

No. 6 - Cheryl Cole, an English pop and R&B recording artist, songwriter, dancer, actress, and model;

No. 7 - Shakira, Colombian singer who popularized the songs "Whenever, Wherever" and "Underneath Your Clothes";

No. 8 - Laetitia Casta, French model;

No. 10 - Leryn Franco, Paraguay's beauty queen and athlete.
