"I always tell my kids that I came from nothing.

"Mahirap lang ako, pero nagsumikap ako to be successful in life.

"Walang imposible sa taong nangangarap.

"Kaya sinabi ko kay Mara na if she wants something, she has to work for it.

"Mas masarap kasi na magkaroon ka ng isang gamit na binili mo kasi pinagtrabahuan mo.

"That's the true value of working and taking care of your earnings.

"Tulad noong first cell phone niya, she bought that out of her talent fees when she was part of Ang TV 2 sa ABS-CBN.

"Noong maging regular talent siya doon, lahat ng talent fees niya, iniipon niya and siya ang bumili ng mga gusto niya.

"Nakabili nga 'yan ng kotse dahil sa mga naipon niya.

"So, yung mga tinuro ko sa mga anak ko, dala nila 'yan parati.

EDUCATION. "I am proud of my kids kasi tutok din sila sa pag-aaral.

"I also told them about the value of education.

"Kailangan may matapos ka para hindi ka inaapi ng ibang tao.

"Tulad ko, nagsumikap ako to finish my college degree.

"I finished my Fine Arts course in the University of the Philippines.
