Former President Ramos's daughter files sex raps against two Azkals

Azkals players Angel Guirado (left) and Lexton Moy (right) face sex raps after former Philippine Olympic Committee president Cristy Ramos filed gender insensitive complaints against them. Cristy is the daughter of former President Fidel V. Ramos.

"I will look into the circumstances of this alleged incident and cooperate with any investigation.

"If it is proven that there was in fact malicious intent, I will make sure that proper sanctions are meted out," sabi ni Palami.

"On behalf of the team, I sincerely apologize to Commissioner Ramos for the distress this situation has caused her."

“My complaint stands no matter what," sabi ni Ramos.

At the appointed time 1745H on match day, I came to the changing room of the Philippine team for the team check. I was accompanied by Fourth Official Wilfredo Bermejo and my liaison officer, Mr Joseph Gensaya. I initially knocked loudly at the door to signal my arrival. A team official opened the door and said that the team would be ready in five 5 minutes. We then waited for five minutes presuming that the team was getting ready for the team check. When we entered the changing room of the Philippine team, I properly introduced ourselves and explained the procedure for the check. In spite of the introduction the players remained rowdy and noisy, apparently not taking the team check seriously and almost ignoring our presence. As I called the players individually so that we could check their accreditation cards and kits, Philippine player LEXTON MOY no. 25 stood by my right side and said in a loud voice "Must be a B cup," to which the players laughed loudly. As I was the only female in the room, he was appare

Whenever I serve as the Match Commissioner, I always follow a standard procedure for the team check regardless of the type of match. At the time of the check I initially knock loudly at the door of the changing room as a sign of courtesy and warning to the team, and then let the Fourth Official first enter the changing room to check if the players are ready before I finally enter the room. Before doing the check itself, I properly introduce myself as the Match Commissioner and also introduce the Fourth Official. I also explain the procedure of how the check will be done. I always tell the players that I will be checking their accreditation cards first then their jerseys, and that the Fourth Official will thereafter check the rest of their kits and other items, e.g., jewellery, hair accessories, fingernails etc. I also tell them the sequence of the check, i.e., I check the starting 11 players first then proceed with the substitutes.

winged_angel, But the thing is, wala tayo sa U.S.. Kung offended sila, we can't do anything about it.

manangdi, actually kung sa US nangyari to, it will not be a big deal. I used to accompany a sports correspondent as an intern and kapag pumapasok kami sa mga locker rooms, dugouts at hotel rooms for interviews, maraming beses na naka hubo't-hubad ang mga athletes. Christy should know better. What the frack is wrong with briefs?

Something smells stinky here... If she was offended and insulted why did she not say a word when it happened? Ask and verify if the statement was directed at her. Demand an apology right there and then. She was capable of saying...you're offending me COVER YOURSELF or else. But she didn't did she...why? She did not escalated the incident to key people immediately WHY? Smells like someone has a hidden agenda...

continuation... ba or mali? But then again, sa kabilang banda, isang babae at a commissioner, for that matter, itong si Cristy. So siyempre, respeto na lang sa kanya. In the first place, hindi dapat ginawa nung dalawa yung mga ginawa nila. So anuman ang maging explanation nila, still, nambastos pa rin sila. Kaya liable pa rin sila. Humingi ng dispensa yung manager. Eh yung dalawa?

Or wala siyang ginawa? Kung sinita niya at hindi nagpaawat, then she has every right to sue or kung anuman ang gusto niyang gawin. Kasi that is definitely kabastusan. Pero kung dun at dun pa lang, sinita ko na sila agad at sinabihang "I don't like what you're doing" then at least alam nung dalawa na hindi ko gusto yung ginagawa nila. Tama po

Cristy is the victim here. As an official, she should have given some courtesy by the players.

But I am disappointed with this story. So sad...

There is no reason to file a lawsuit. What those guys said were indeed disrespctful and immature, but there's no reason to get all sensitive and sue. Confront them and tell them what they did was insulting, that's it. It's ridiculous how you have to sue to get your point or just to feel satisfied. They already apologized. Accept it and move on!

adoboworld, its her job, if ur doing an inspection or whatever mas madalas talaga unannounced. Suportado ko pa naman ang team na ito all the way but not in this one. And to think this isn't the first time na may ganitong alleged incident.

As the Match Commissioner, it was Ms. Ramos' duty to verify the identification or accreditation cards of the players and to ensure that their kits were in order. She did not ”ambush” the locker room, as you put it. The players were given warning that a female match commisioner was going inside the locker room and ample time to prepare themselves.
