The Bureau of Immigration released an official statement to clarify that John Carter star Taylor Kitsch, who claimed to have been harassed in an airport in the Philippines, never set foot in the country. BI spokesperson Ma. Antonnette Mangrobang explains in an interview, "We also checked the flight manifests of all airlines from Japan to Manila and it all yielded negative results."

P-Noy at its best or worst. If there is nothing to hide, then why is the customs office so defensive? I have flown in and out of Manila a few times and it is a mess. The airport is so dirty and nasty coupled with the unfriendly customs officers who openly ask for a pasalubong. So embarrassing especially if you are traveling with non-pinoy friends.

I totally agree with you no. 1 Gohano411, it happen to one of my friend, ginawan sya ng Visit Visa although lahat ng legalization abroad and pnas ginawa nya based on the said law! pagdating sa Airport Immigration natin hindi sya pwedeng paalisin kc daw kulang ang documents nya, he tried to explain pero lack of documents daw, to make it short nagbigay ung friend ko ng 20k cash then ok, although we don't agree to it, pero how much money -damages- would it be if he's unable to fly..loads of money tho'......Pnas system is good and very easy if you abide by the rules but the people who are working in the Gov't are corrupt!....as for this unknown hollywood actor he awe Pnas an apology!

Taylor Kitsch you should issue a public apology to the Philippines. You're damaging the reputation of our beloved country. We are a very hospitable nation definitely the opposite of what you have broadcast in David Letterman Show. We demand that apology must be issued.

There was no official records of Taylor Kitsch's arrival because the immigration Officer did not allow him to stay, hence his passport was not completely processed and NO stamp imprinted as 'arrived manila' on such and such date. President PNoy AQUINO was not able to ERADICATE corruption in the country, and everyone knows which Bureaus in the Philippines are the CORRUPT ones. PNoy, you should make sure that all your BUREAUs are keeping the records right, otherwise, NOTHING will show up! What a mess, shame shame shame PNoy!
