Isabelle Daza denies turning down role of Rocco Nacino's leading lady in Lam-Ang

Isabelle Daza on why she doesn't want to join a beauty contest: "Lagi silang nagsusulat na I have the potential to be the next, you know, beauty queen. And I think it's a big shoe to fill na... napakataba siyempre ng puso ko na they would think that of me. And they would think that highly of me. And I'm glad, I'm grateful. But it's really me. Parang happy na ako with this. I wanna focus with GMA siyempre. And hosting. And sports. Yung pagiging beauty queen, I think hindi iyon ang path ko."

Ngayong araw, March 6, ang 24th birthday ni Isabelle Daza.

Si Isabelle ang nag-artista na ring anak ng unang Pinay Miss Universe winner na si Gloria Diaz.

Nauna nang nagkaroon ng celebration para sa kanya sa Party Pilipinas noong Linggo, March 4. Dito nakausap ng PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) si Isabelle.

Bukod sa Party Pilipinas, may iba pa bang selebrasyon si Isabelle para sa kanyang kaarawan?

"Actually for this year, I'm not doing anything on my birthday.

"Kasi I'm saving... I'm gonna donate a house for Gawad Kalinga. Kaya wala akong party.

"First time na magbi-birthday ako na walang party," nakangiti niyang sabi.

Dagdag pa niya, "This is my first time na mag-celebrate ng birthday sa showbiz, kasi last year lang ako pumasok.

"And siyempre, I'm excited to be able to share my birthday with everybody sa Party Pilipinas.

"May production number ako na talagang sobrang kinabahan ako!

"Gano'n pala kapag birthday. Todo dance!" sabay tawa niya.

BIRTHDAY WISH. When asked kung ano ang kanyang birthday wish, maikling sagot lang niya: "To significantly change someone's life."

And that's her primary reason why she wanted to donate a house to Gawad Kalinga.

Ano naman ang birthday gift sa kanya ng mommy niya?

"Uhm... actually, hindi ko pa alam. Baka surprise.

siempre feeling sikat dahil anak ng firts filipina miss universe. Who cares? puede ba 43 years na ANG nakaran ng naging miss universe si gloria. outdated na yan. waahhhhhhhhh.

ako din, i like her... dahil sa kanya hindi masyadong ramdam ang pagkawala ni iza sa GMA. at magaling din sya sumayaw huh! sana magkaroon sya ng regular production number sa PP.
