Tween queen Barbie Forteza enjoyed her very first Palawan trip this year.
She says, “Kasi po ang ganda talaga ng lugar!
"Isa pa po, nong nagpunta kami doon ng family ko, konti lang ang mga [bakanteng] rooms.
“Halos puro foreigners ang kasama namin sa resort, kaya nakakilos po ako na walang umuusyoso.
“Kasi hindi nila ako kilala, hindi nila alam na artista ako.
“Kaya na-enjoy po namin yung lugar.
"Isa pa po, bakasyon talaga iyon, walang trabaho, walang kamera, walang script.
“Unlike yung iba kong punta sa beach, kadalasan, taping or shooting.”
FAMILY BONDING! Last March 16 to 19, Barbie went to Palawan with her family and relatives.
They stayed at Cooper's Beach Resort, a very nice private resort along Honda Bay.
On their second day, March 17, Barbie and her family visited the famous Underground River and sampled Palawan's delicacy—tamilok (wood worm).
“Sobrang ganda po ng Underground River! Karapat-dapat po talagang mapasama siya sa mga Wonders of the World," says Barbie.
DON'T PANIC! On March 18, Barbie and her family went island hopping and snorkeling in Starfish Island.
On their way back to the resort, the boat stopped because it ran out of fuel.
According to Barbie, her family, along with other tourists had to stay at a nearby tiny island for a couple of hours.
It was quite an experience for Barbie because the locals in the island were kind enough to offer them food.
There was also plenty of buko to quench their thirst, according to the young actress.
“Exciting po yung adventure namin. Kaya hindi po kami natakot or nag-panic nung naubusan ng gasolina yung boat namin.
“Sobrang saya po ng summer adventure naming yun!”
