“I felt guilty because I allowed myself also to be carried away by my emotions, na hindi naman pala talaga importante," says former movie queen Amalia Fuentes about her rift with late husband Joey Stevens.

“Ano ang mapi-feel mo if you are a wife?

“Oo, siya ang nagkamali, he called it a fling.

"Pero ako naman, I was too proud.

"I was then too proud to accept the fact that a man can make a mistake.

“Without that closure, lalong naging painful kasi nga I cannot make it up to him anymore.

"Alam mo ‘yong feeling na gano’n? Na this is final na hindi ko na [siya makakausap].”

NOT HIS SON.

Sabi niya, “Kasi tinanong talaga no’ng anak ni Joey, ‘Dad you must speak, I have to know, what is this boy to you? Because I heard also stories that gano’n-gano’n.'

"Sabi ni Joey, ‘It’s just a rumor.'

"The same ng sinagot niya sa akin: 'It’s just a rumor that I’ve heard a long time ago.’
