Dahil sa hindi makumbinsi ang mga nilapitan nilang tao para maging witnesses sa kaso nilang child abuse laban kay Annabelle Rama, inamin ng abugado ni Nadia Montenegro na si Atty. Dexter B. Lacuanan na inaasahan na niyang madi-dismiss nga ng Quezon City Prosecutor’s Office ang kaso nilang ito laban sa talent manager.

Pero bawi rin agad ni Atty. Lacuanan sa mga kaharap na miyembro ng media na dumating sa ipinatawag na presscon ni Nadia kahapon, Abril 19, sa TJ Resto, Quezon City, “I was just a little bit disappointed, kasi I thought that the statement of the kids themselves would’ve been sufficient to mete probable cause.

“That is why we are now appealing and filing our Motion for Reconsideration…”

Matatandaang nitong Lunes, Abril 16, lumabas ang balitang na-dismiss ng Quezon City Prosecutor’s Office ang kaso ni Nadia ng child abuse laban kay Annabelle, habang pinagtibay naman sa resolusyon ang 14 na kaso ng libel at dalawang kaso ng unjust vexation and grave oral defamation laban sa talent manager

RE-ASSESS. Kasamang humarap sa media ang kliyenteng si Nadia at mga anak nitong sina Ynna at Anykka Asistio, at kapwa abugado na si Atty. Maggie Abraham, sinabi pa ni Atty. Lacuanan na hindi lahat ng alegasyon nila sa kasong child exploitation laban kay Annabelle ay natingnang maigi ng Prosecutor’s Office.

Sabi ni Atty. Lacuanan, “The Resolution did not tackle all the allegations of child exploitation. Only some were discussed in the Resolution, and we wanted to invite the attention of the investigating prosecutor na dalawing uli at ire-assess nilang uli.”

Ayon naman kay Atty. Abraham, “There are some facts that have been misappreciated or not have been considered.

“Like for example, the most important facts there [are] the rumors that were spread against the children of Nadia. That one of the children was raped and another child suffered from STD.

“So I believe that the Office of the City Prosecutor must consider this matter as well for the resolution to be reconsidered and reversed.

“So, dun sa Motion for Reconsideration namin, may mga facts kami na mas lalo pa naming ipu-push para ipakita sa Office of the City Prosecutor that, indeed, the crime was committed."

Saad naman ni Nadia, “’Tsaka kailangan na maintindihan n'yo, yung parang pinagdiinan nila dun yung 40 hours of working time na nirereklamo ko sa mga anak ko. Kailangang malinaw yun, hindi ko nirereklamo yung 40 oras na…

“Ang dami pa dun na kailangang basahin kung bakit ko nireklamo yun.

“I mean, ang tagal-tagal ko na sa business na ‘to. Alam ko ang working hours. Hindi naman ako ganun kababaw na yun lang, irereklamo ko.

“Tingnan nila kung bakit. Dahil nag-suffer ang school ng mga anak ko, hindi natupad ang lahat ng pinag-usapan namin, marami siyang ipinagawa na hindi na dapat. Hindi lang yung 40 hours, e.
