“Siyempre I was disappointed, I was really into my character already and I really like the story of the movie. But you know, they are professional in this business, they know what’s best," says Derek Ramsay about Star Cinema's decision to replace him as Bea Alonzo's leading man in a movie.

Aniya, “Hindi siya na-shelved, I think papalitan ako.

“It was Star Cinema’s management that decided it.

“I think it was announced in the press na hindi na tuloy sa akin yung project so I understand… I’m not bitter or mad.”

“Siyempre I was disappointed, I was really into my character already and I really like the story of the movie.

“But you know, they are professional in this business, they know what’s best.

“I worked with the probably number one director in the Philippines—Direk Olive Lamasan.

“I’ve learned a lot from her, she taught me a lot of things, she spoke to me.

“I really think of the positive on it. I don’t want to focus on the negative.

“Ang dami kong natutunan, I got the chance to work with her [Direk Olive] and maybe in the future makatrabaho ko siya.
