As promised, the first night of Lady Gaga's Born This Way Ball tour showcased a "whole performance of LIBERATION."

The Mother Monster (her moniker) marked the debut of Mall of Asia Arena with larger-than-life sets, a huge group of little monsters, avant garde fashion, and a repertoire that knows no bounds.

Despite the protests led by a number of Christian youths, the American singer rendered the controversial "Judas," which earned a thunderous cheers from her Pinoy fans.

To which, Lady Gaga remarked, “Oh, you like this song, huh…”

And, she was not in the least bothered by the censorship issue because the 26-year-old hitmaker uttered the F word several times.

In between her songs, she exclaimed, “Manila, are you having fun? If you’re not, I don’t give a f*ck!!!”

But when it's time to confront her critics, Lady Gaga turned emotional:

“I’m not an alien, I’m not a woman, I’m not a man, and I’m not a creature of your government, Manila.

“I’m all your dreams and I’m all your potential. Let me be all your insecurities and your fears.

“I’m your future… I’m everything that makes you sad and angry.

“I’m you, little monsters.

“Tonight’s not about making a statement. Tonight's us all coming together because we believe we were all born this way.

“Some people say I stand for things that are bad.

“The truth is: I want the best for every single one of you..."

Among the hits she sang were "Bad Romance," "Hair," "Just Dance," "Marry The Night," "Pokerface," and, of course, "Born This Way."

she disrespected the philippine government by saying that. If she did this to Marcoses before, she would be kicked out of Manila right away. She thinks, shes above the law or the little God that everyone should adore.

listen carefully to her music..she is indeed like a devil incarnate. She is conveying a controversial arresting messages to stay popular and target the "weak minds", then deceive people by proclaiming "freedom" -people is seem forgetting that freedom has responsibilities.

been living here in US for quite sometimes and you w0uldn't hear us "F" words, sheeesh can't even say the word. For some that says, it is accepted in her culture, you don't know what you are talking about. Bad apples is everywhere and she is one of you little monsters as she claims. For those that says katoliko pa rin syang umuwi after the concert,,there are criminals, liars, demons that claims to be katoliko or christians pa din despite of their evils. What you have is just a religion/membership which is not a passport to heaven. It shows your poor values sad.

i don't believe in censorship... if you don't like it don't buy it, watch it, look at it, smell it, eat it etc., etc, etc. once you start banning one thing, then another thing will be banned, and so on and so on. Keep this country free .. there's a room for every ones differences, point of views and opinions, you just have to keep an open mind.

No, hindi naman niya kailangan. But her views and upbringing is different from ours no matter what. Yes, her words are not offensive but still don't like that she tell that when in reality she's a slave of their music system. She create what other want to produces and pay. Is she really trying create free and fearless image? For me, her style is no different from the other I`ve seen. And her I don`t care image is what I don`t like about her. She has fans so she must. If she really care about them -her little monsters-.

Not because we have every freedom. We'll forget to respect. Asian artists respect their every laws they haveUSA. Those artists are not men, women nor people of their goverent nor laws too. Yet they follow their laws. Now why she can't do that with ours? ----------------- bakit may nalabag ba syang batas??
