Bubbles Paraiso’s perfect tan was noticeably aglow at the press conference of the GMA Network afternoon soap Kasalanan Bang Ibigin Ka? at noon today, May 29, held at the 8 Spices Restaurant along Mother Ignacia Street, Quezon City.

The show, all set to premiere on June 4, stars Bubbles as Jenelyn, the scheming ex-girlfriend of Geoff Eigenmann’s character, Jake.

Dressed in a bright pink dress that bared her toasted shoulders, the actress-model was eye-catching.

As the event proceeded with the press conference proper, Bubbles was asked what acting skill will she be able to contribute to the new soap.

“Yung madadala ko dito? I think because I’ve been doing kontrabida roles lately… yung pagiging bitch-essa. There’s no other term for it,” she replied, half-laughing.

Later, in a brief one-on-one interview with PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal), Bubbles was inquired about how her summer went.

“Saya, actually!” exclaimed the dusky beauty who said she was able to fly to Boracay five times in the company of her friends.

Bubbles likewise mentioned that she was able to stay in different spots in the island including the newly-opened district and the Discovery Shores.

Her most recent visit was due to a GMA Network-sponsored event.

BORACAY AND MAXENE. Prompted by an account that reported a fight between Bubbles and her celebrity friend Maxene Magalona at the Discovery Shores in Boracay, PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) brought up the alleged issue for clarification.

Initially asked how she and Maxene are doing, the model actress said, “Okay naman. Pero I don’t see her that much anymore. I think she’s busy na rin with her soap.”

The eldest of the Magalona brood is in fact working on Unfaithful, an upcoming Kapuso teleserye.

Further questioned if she and the 25-year-old actress got to spend time together over the summer in Boracay, Bubbles replied, “We saw each other. I think we were able to spend time. Mabilis lang. Parang nag-bonding-bonding kami dun, sunset session.

“Basta of all my trips, once ko lang siya nakita. Most of my trips was with my barkada,” she added.

Finally directed the question about the reported altercation between her and Maxene, Bubbles stated, “As far as I am concerned, I was there, I was having fun. Walang issue sa aking life in Boracay.”
