“I wanna continue what I’ve started. There’s still so much that needs to be done,” sabi ni Lucy sa PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) at iba pang reporters sa launching ng bago niyang product endorsement, ang Avon Genics, sa Peninsula Manila Hotel sa Makati noong Hunyo 5.
“My job as a representative is difficult but it’s also very fulfilling,” wika ni Lucy.
“I’m happy to be in a position to be able to do more than just say ‘kawawa naman’ or ‘nakakalungkot naman ‘yon.’
“At least, I’m in a position to actually do something and make a difference.
“At least I’m at an age when I’m still young and I have the energy.”
ELECTION COMPETITION.
Para sa kanya, “I feel that the election is there for the people to have a choice. So anybody can run but the people have to choose.
“For as long as the people choose you, then maybe you’re there to really sit.
“But when the people say na tama na, you also have to know how to step down.
“I feel that it’s really part of our democracy.
“We have to embrace that mayroon talaga tayong eleksyon. Especially now na it’s automated, it makes it more legitimate and it makes it more simple.”
