Pasok na pala ang TV5 princess na si Arci Muñoz sa 25 official candidates na maglalaban para sa titulong Miss World Philippines 2012.

Kaya inabangan ng media ang aktress sa press presentation ng mga kandidata na ginanap sa Manila Hotel kanina, June 7. Pero hindi kasama sa mga rumampang kandidata si Arci.

Diumano’y nag-backout daw ang aktres na ikinagulat ng marami.

Para malaman ang totoong kadahilanan, kinausap ng PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) ang Chairperson ng CQ Global Quest Inc. at Miss World Philippines franchise owner na si Ms. Cory Quirino.

Paliwanag ni Cory, “Si Arci, pasok na siya, e, sa official 25 candidates.

“Kaya lang, she cannot fulfill her obligations muna to Miss World Philippines dahil meron siyang active and live contract with TV5.

“So, until that obligations have been fulfilled, she cannot join Miss World Philippines.”

Ibig sabihin ba nito ay hindi pinayagan ng TV5 ang aktres?

“Her contract will not allow her. She’s under contract and it’s a live contract.

“She’s not only a talent, she’s a star of TV5," sagot ni Cory.

May mga commitments pa raw kasi si Arci sa Kapatid Network na kailangan nitong asikasuhin bago pa matapos ang kontrata niya sa first quarter ng 2013.

Kaya kahit na TV5 pa ang may hawak ng TV coverage ng Miss World Philippines 2012, at talent ng TV5 si Arci, ay hindi raw puwedeng maging exemption ito.

“No, hindi puwede. They’re very professional. They’re very strict about the contract.

“So, I respected that decision of TV5.”

Ipinagtanggol naman ni Cory ang TV5 sa isyung ito.
