Bukod sa June 24 coronation night na iho-host nina Ruffa Gutierrez at Edu Manzano, konting detalye na lang ang pwedeng mai-share ni Miss World 2011 1^st Princess Gwendoline Ruais tungkol sa magaganap na Miss World Philippines pageant.

“Siyempre po, we’re keeping a lot of things a surprise kasi siyempre gusto nating iba-iba kasi ang mga pageants ngayon na hina-handle ng TV5.

“So, we’re very excited and we don’t want to give out too much information. 

“Basta, abangan na lang yung official 25 candidates dahil ang gaganda talaga nila—iba-iba yung looks nila…

“And we’re very-very happy with our selection and we’re really looking forward to whatever TV5 has in store because it’s really great.”

Ito ang mahabang pahayag ni Gwendoline sa PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) nang makapanayam siya sa kakatapos na press launch ng Miss World Philippines sa Centennial Ballroom ng Manila Hotel noong Huwebes, June 7.

PAGEANT ROLE. Maliban sa pag-relinquish niya ng kanyang korona, may iba pang partisipasyon si Gwen para sa pageant.

“Siyempre po, me and my friends are here to mentor the girls. 

“We’re here to help them, to train them and magkakaroon rin po ako ng workshop sa mga girls…

“To help them and give them advice and tips and share the experiences and all the lessons that I have learned, siyempre.

“We’re just going to be there sa lahat ng mga activities nila just to chaperone them…

“Give them advice and tips just to make sure na yung mananalo will be very well-trained, you know, and the coronation goes really well.”

PAGEANT FAVORITES. May napupusuan na raw si Gwen na ilang kandidata na sa palagay niya ay puwedeng manalo.

“Of course, I mean, all the girls have potential, but you also have a few girls that you can see are standouts. 

“Pero nag-e-evolve po ‘yan throughout the competition.
