Three men are all set to rattle the viewing habit of Pinoys every Sunday, where variety shows dominate the television landscape.

It’s Joey de Leon’s first time to work with Edu Manzano. The former is known for his countless witticisms, and the latter, for his deadpan humor and the Papaya dance.

Joining the two veteran hosts is Arnell Ignacio, whose Go Bingo show became popular in the late '90s.

During the luncheon sponsored by TV5 last June 13 at Mario’s restaurant, the three hosts talked about their upcoming show, politics, and fatherhood.

The output? A well of insights!

For the entrée, Joey reiterated something he said in a previous interview—that politics is not his cup of tea.

According to him, it would eat up time he can spend for the thing he loves most—traveling.

Likewise, Edu—who gave the Vice Presidential post a shot during the May 2010 elections—said his days as a politician are over.

He added in jest, “Pero ako, araw-araw akong tumatakbo…”

For Arnell’s part, “Ako, hindi, e. Lagi akong talo, e…”

He ran for councilor of Quezon City in the last elections.

The comedian-performer continued, “Nauubos lang pera ko sa kakatakbo, e. Masaya na naman sila sa sitwasyon nila sa buhay, e. Kung tutulungan ko pa sila, baka ma-misinterpret pa.”

LESSONS FROM DAD. Joey was around three years old when his dad Jose Seoane de Leon left for Madrid, Spain.

“Nagkita kami after 26 years,” he said.

Moving on, the Wow Mali! host related, “But anyway, ang natutunan ko lang sa tatay ko nung pagbalik, e, yung pagiging masipag.
