The family of Mang Dolphy reassured the public that the Comedy King’s condition is closely being monitored in an undisclosed hospital.

In his most recent tweet, Eric Quizon disclosed…

“My dad was sent to the hospital last Saturday because of his pneumonia.”

Ang dahilan umano ng panghihina  ng kanilang  ama ay sanhi ng COPD o Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease.

Kinailangan na kabitan si Mang Dolphy ng respirator upang makahinga.

Eric added…

“Currently, his vital organs are all in order and he is responding to treatment very well. However, he is under close observation and round-the-clock intensive care to make sure that he recovers well.

“Thank you for your love  and prayers, maraming salamat from the bottom of our hearts.”

Matapos ang report na ito ay live na nakausap ng StarTalk TX hosts si Eric via phone patch na kasalukuyang nasa Hong Kong.

Si Eric ang ina–update ng doktor tungkol sa kalagayan ng kanyang ama.

DIFFICULTY BREATHING. “He was checked in last Saturday, so bale isang linggo na ngayon.

"Because he was having difficulty breathing at the same time during that time he has a slight pneumonia so… with his condition kasi dapat the slightest pneumonia or yung nahihirapang paghinga, dinadala agad siya sa ospital, apart from his regular check-ups, and then iyon, for the longest time he was having difficulty breathing.

“Tapos hanggang mga Tuesday and then at the same time we had a little bit of a scare  because he was having difficulty… nahihirapan siyang  mag-poo-poo at nahihirapan rin siyang mag- wee-wee so his other organs are also affected.

“So what happened was… sa sobrang hirap niyang… kumbaga nahihirapan talaga siyang huminga, yung carbon dioxide level niya tumaas, umabot  sa 81 percent and that is really high… ang normal para sa kanya dapat nasa 40 lang, e.
