What would you do if one of your sons is gay?

Bulgar entertainment editor Janice Navida asked Edu Manzano this question at the mini-press conference for Game ‘N Go hosts last June 13.

In a serious tone, Edu began, “Well, siguro, gagawin ko yung... sasabihin ko sa kanya, 'Halika, biyahe tayo.'

“Dadalhin ko sa malayong lugar, kakausapin ko...'"

There was a brief pause before he continued, "'Tapos iiwanan ko… na wala siyang pocket money, na wala siyang [kahit] ano…

“G**o ka, a… sipain kita… 'Wag kang babalik sa bahay! Yung ganun.

"Pero bibigyan ko siya ng load para makapag-text back, 'Dad, ready na ko.'"

His response elicited chuckles from the small group that attended the luncheon.

But kidding aside, he said, “Actually, right now, you can’t tell anymore, di ba? Ang daming mga outside influences na talagang nag-e-exist ngayon sa mundong ito.

“I would take my chance in whatever way."

What's important to him is having quality time with his three kids— Luis, 31, Amanda (Addie), 16, and Lorenzo, 14.

The TV5 host added, "You know, I’m just happy being with them. Lagi kong sinasabi yun. You think that sometimes money brings you great joy.

“Kita mo si Joey, trabaho nga pero he travels kasi it gives him much joy.

“Right now, ako, being with my children. Suwerte nga ako, my children are with me. So I derive such pleasure sa ’king mga anak.”

Does he meddle in his children's lovelife?
