Superstar Nora Aunor has the privilege of working numerous times with writer-director-actor Mario O'Hara, who passed away earlier today, June 26. The late director's last major work was Nora's mini-serye on TV5, Sa Ngalan ng Ina.

How is she taking her good friend's death?

"She's really down.

(1981), Gaano Kita Kamahal (1981), Condemned (1984), at Bulaklak Sa City Jail (1984).

THE VISIT.

I really like Mario O'Hara. It's too bad he left us so early. Rest in peace, Mario. I wish that one day, you will be named National Artist for Film. Thank you so much for leaving us very nice films that will last the test of time. Paalam, Mario O'hara.

Philippine showbiz has lost another genius. I remember watching him up close on stage in PETA's Pinoy adaptation of Kiss of the Spiderwoman or Halik ng Tarantula with Julio Diaz. I was amazed at his talent. Actor or director. Sayang, I was awaiting another collaboration pa naman between him and erstwhile talent Nora Aunor. May he rest in peace.

Goodbye to one of the most brilliant directors in Philippine cinema. Your legacy will truly continue to shine and live on. It is so hard to imagine that the great Nora Aunor won't be able to collaborate with Direk Mario again. All their collaborations truly created magic.
