Adele is pregnant.

The "Rolling in the Deep" singer has confirmed she and her boyfriend Simon Konecki are expecting their first child together and is ''over the moon'' to be expanding her family.

In a blog on her official website, Adele wrote: ''Im delighted to announce that Simon and I are expecting our first child together. I wanted you to hear the news direct from me, obviously we're over the moon and very excited but please respect our privacy at this precious time. Yours always, Adele''

In January she had to debunk rumors Simon was still married, saying he had been divorced for four years.

She wrote: ''This is the first and last time I will comment on the details of my relationship with Simon.

''Contrary to reports and headlines in the press today, Simon is divorced and has been for four years. Everyone in our lives separately and together wish us nothing but the best, and vice versa. These are the facts.''

Earlier this year, Adele purchased a new mansion in Sussex, England with Simon.

A source said: ''Adele fell in love with the house. She's buying it immediately. It's not as big as the rented place but it's beautiful and they have a gorgeous sea view.''
