Atty. Felipe Gozon, chairman and CEO of GMA Network Inc., reacted to the business headline of the Philippine Daily Inquirer titled “GMA7 acquisition price seen at P52.5B.”

Ang basehan ng istorya ni Dumlao ay mula sa “sources familiar with the discussions” at “another source close to the sellers.”

Ayon pa sa artikulo, “The acquisition will be based on what was determined as an ‘enterprise value’ of P52.5 billion for GMA 7.”

Sa kasong ito, kasama raw sa package ang “1.5 billion in preferred shares that have five times more voting rights than common shares (now at 3.36 billion) but convertible at par to common shares at a 1:1 ratio.”
