Xian Lim refuted a report saying that he snubbed his friend, comedian Vice Ganda, in a birthday party about two weeks ago.

In its July 9 episode, TV5’s entertainment talk show Juicy! gave an account of the incident, saying that the My Binondo Girl actor did not acknowledge the presence of Vice Ganda at the birthday celebration of ABS-CBN’s Ad Prom Head Biboy Arboleda.

Juicy’s IC Mendoza relayed to his co-panelists Cristy Fermin, Divine Lee, Shalala, and Jose Javier Reyes: “Si Xian, sabi ng aking very reliable source, ay dinedma si Vice Ganda.

“Dinaanan niya lang. 'Tapos after nun, si Kim Chiu pa mismo ang nagsabi, ‘Uy, Xian, si Vice yun, di ba?’

“Tapos sabi [lang] ni Xian, ‘Uy!’

“Parang ang Vice naman, na-hurt kasi akala niya, friend siya, yun pala, showbiz friends lang.”

Xian denied the said issue in his advanced birthday celebration held yesterday, July 10, at the McDonald’s along Mother Ignacia Avenue, Quezon City.

The actor explained, “Mabilis lang po ako kasi meron akong… Dumaan lang po ako sa party kasi meron akong flight sa Singapore the next few hours.

“Hindi ko naman po siya nakita. Wala siya dun. Sobrang aga ko din,” stated the actor.

“Kasama ko si Maja [Salvador], nasa table nila ako.

“Mabilis lang po talaga ako dun. Wala po siya dun. Wala pa siya nun.

“Klinir [clear] ko lang. Wala pa siya nun. Wala siya dun nung time na nandun ako.”

LONGTIME ISSUE. While Xian has always denied the never-ending issue that he is taking advantage of Vice Ganda’s popularity and their friendship, the intrigue continues to be hurled at him.

“Wala naman ganun, di ba? As much as possible naman, hindi ko iniisip yung mga ganung bagay…” stated the actor.

“Puro trabaho na lang ba iniisip? Hindi naman, e.”
