(UPDATED) PNoy and celebrities mourn the death of Comedy King Dolphy

Just a few minutes after news that King of Comedy Dolphy passed away came out, the Twitter world was flooded with claims that Dolphy was still alive. But a few minutes later, it was confirmed by Dolphy's partner, Zsa Zsa Padilla.

Nagluluksa ang industriya ng Pelikulang Pilipino dahil sa pagpanaw ng Comedy King na sa Dolphy.

Binawian ng buhay ang beteranong komedyante kaninang 8:34 ng gabi, Hulyo 10, sa Makati Medical Center sanhi ng "multiple organ failure secondary to complications brought about by severe pneumonia, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, and acute renal failure."

Si Dolphy ay 83 years old.

TWITTER WORLD. Kaugnay nito, nagkagulo kanina ang mundo ng Twitter dahil sa balitang pumanaw na ang Comedy King.

Ilang celebrities ang nag-post ng kanilang mensahe tungkol sa pagpanaw ni Mang Dolphy, pero ilan sa kanila ang agad ding binawi ang kanilang tweets matapos kumalat ang report na hindi pa raw kumpirmado ang balita.

Ngunit nang kumpirmahin mismo ng longtime partner ni Mang Dolphy na si Zsa Zsa Padilla ang pagpanaw ng beteranong komedyante, sunud-sunod na ang pagpu-post ng mensahe ng pakikiramay ang mga artista sa Twitter.

Ang iba pa sa kanila ay nag-post ng mga litrato nila na kasama ang Hari ng Komedya nang nabubuhay pa ito.

Naging top trending topic din sa Twitter ang hashtag na "RIP Dolphy" ilang minuto lamang pagkatapos makumpirma ang pagyao ng Comedy King.

Most of comedy's greats have already passed away : I may not know him personally, but I felt sad with his passing. Dolphy, Panchito and Chiquito will always be the best comedians in my list, RIP Pidol! God Bless your happy and gentle soul!

si yabang willie umeksena pa... live on-air talaga ang confirmation? eeksena lang para mapagusapan ang bagsak nyang show gagamitin pa yung pamilyang nagdadalamhati... wala bang nag-sabi sa kanya na it leaves a bad taste in the mouth... napaka=mal edukado...

kung anuman ang rason ni willie don, deadma na muna sa negative na pagiisip.. mapawillie pa yan o kahit sino o baka ikaw im sure gusto mong makibalita, malaman, maishare sa paaaaanoooo mang paraan ang pagpanaw ni dolphy. day, moment of silence muna. wag ka munang negative.

I know, you may not know my father, but I'm sure when you start your fullest jokes or humor, you will make the angels to include my Dad in heaven laugh. Love you po Mang Dolphy
