“Here, we’re in ABS-CBN, but they allowed people from other networks and from other newspapers.”

Maaaring maulit pa raw ito kung sakaling matuloy ang binabalak na isang malaking tribute para sa kanyang ama.

Kuwento ni Eric, “You know what, I was just talking to some of the bosses here.

“They’re all planning to have a tribute to my father.

“The only way to be able to do that is to have all his body of work, to be able to compile all his body of work.

“You will need to have all the networks for that kasi may ibang properties na pampelikula na pag-aari ng [GMA-7], ng [TV5], pag-aari ng [ABS-CBN].

“In order for them to put that together and give a real tribute like [putting together] his body of work—then, they have to be together.”

Naging tirahan ni Dolphy ang ABS-CBN sa loob ng mahigit apat na dekada. Dito siya nagkaroon ng unang TV show, ang Buhay Artista.

Noong 2010 naman ay lumipat ng TV5 si Dolphy, kung saan gumawa siya ng sitcom na Pidol’s Wonderland. Naging bahagi rin siya ng pelikulang Rosario, na unang proyekto ng movie arm ng Kapatid Network na Studio 5.

Samantala, nakatrabaho naman ng Comedy King sa mga pelikula ang ilang artista mula sa Kapuso network. Isa na rito si Vic Sotto na mas madalas nakikita sa GMA-7.
