David Cook on Jessica Sanchez: “To hear her sing is ridiculous! She’s so good.”

“How good is this person going to get?” Pop rock artist David Cook thinks highly of American Idol Season 11 first runner-up, Jessica Sanchez. David Cook returns to Manila where he will hold a concert for the second time.

He described Jessica as, “someone who initially came off sincere.”

“And then to hear her sing is ridiculous!

“She’s so good and what’s scary about it is she’s young! And that’s Archie [David Archuleta] territory. Honestly! He’s [David] so good at such a young age.

“How good is this person going to get? I look at Jessica the same way.”

Lost for words, Cook finally said, “I think… I don’t know what to think. She’s just really, really good.”

He also said Jessica could be one of Idol’s success stories.

Hi, just want to point out corrections in the copy: David Cook is back in the Philippines for a two-night concert from July 14 to June 15. should be July 15 and on Sunday night, June 15, at the Waterfront Hotel in Cebu- same correction.

He was asked about Jessica Sanchez. It would be VERY ridiculous if he answered anything that would be negative about Jessica including not having a charisma to the audience - well, she is still young anyway and she can still develop that.

Is that why Phillip already SOLD worth of millions of US dollars in his AI album and several songs? With last year's winner who also played guitar, is that also why Scotty already SOLD more than one milion of albums and chose the country forte? How much did Jessica sell again? I like Scotty, Phillip and Jessica but I can accept reality.

Na-ban ang comment ko na hindi ako high blood at nagmamadali lang mga type at na ang mga bata ang nagpasikat at bumibili ng albums and songs ni Justin Bieber, Britney Spears, JLo, John Mayer, Justin Timberlake, Madonna, JLo, Carrie Underwood, Kelly Clarkson, etc.

alveec, Phillip is a one song wonder, trust me. He does not even like that song. But i like him, lol. Discount Scotty because he has pure talent than Phillip though i like him, lol.

Mickey, if what you predict would happen that Phillip is a one hit wonder, that is still better than no hit wonder like Jessica. Phillip's albums and songs are still selling. Jessica's TANKED. I still like both Phillip and Jessica.
