Comedy King Dolphy finally laid to rest

Comedy King Dolphy was finally laid to rest earlier this afternoon, July 15, at the Heritage Park in Taguig City. (Inset) Zsa Zsa Padilla embraces the casket of the Comedy King during the final viewing.

Bago isilid sa kanyang puntod ang labi ng Comedy King ay nagbigay ng maikling mensahe si Zsa Zsa.

Pagkatapos magpasalamat sa lahat ng mga nakiramay ay nagpaalam siya sa yumaong partner sa pamamagitan ng pagsasabi ng "I love you, lovey ko."

Dagdag pa ng Divine Diva, "Until we meet again."

Sa background naman ay maririnig ang awiting "Seasons of Love" mula sa musical na Rent habang sinisilidan ang puntod ng Comedy King. Nagpakawala rin ng mga puting kalapati.

Sa bandang huli ay naging magaan na ang mood sa libing. Sa isang punto pa nga ay nakitang ngumiti si Zsa Zsa habang kausap ang kanyang mga anak.

Sa July 25 ay ipagdiriwang sana ni Dolphy ang kanyang 84th birthday.

    Miss na miss kita Mang Dolphy. Ikaw at ikaw lang ang iniyakan ko na celebrity na namatay. Ewan ko, nakakamiss ang mga pagpapatawa mo. Ang ginagawa ko na lang, pinapanood ko ang mga movies mo sa YOutube pero nakakalungkot pa ring isipin na wala ka na.

    Nasaan ka man ngayon Tito Dolphy, mahal na mahal ka namin. Kahit hindi kita personal na kilala, napakarami mo akong beses na napatawa at mga gintong aral na napupulot ko sa bawat palabas mo lalo na ang Home Along Da Riles na naging bahagi ng high school and college life ko.. My Thursdays would never be complete without watching Home Along da Riles. Nakaklungkot kasi wala ka na at hindi ka na naming masisilayan na mapatawa mo pa kami ulit. Masaya in the sense na alam ko maraming kaibigan mo na nauna ng namayapa ang nag hihintay sa iyo dyan kasama ang Panginoon. Si Babalu, Panchito, Redford White, Chiquito, Nida Blanca, Charito Solis, Paquito Diaz..at marami pa... We will miss you Tito Dolphy.

    He was there at ABS CBN compound during the first eulogy. He was seen leaving afterwards.

    Goodbye Mang Pidol...masasabi kong dalawa kami ng ate ko sa mga milyon milyong Pilipino na humahanga sa yo na nagkaroon ng chance na ikaw ay makita at makadaupang palad doon pa sa iyong paboritong Hotel sa Hongkong....you, Zsashing and vandolph na noon ay maliit pa. RIP Mang Pidol!
