“Yung sakto lang for my height. For my height kasi, bagay sa akin ang 120 to 125 [pounds], and I’m 125 now.
“So, puwede pa akong mag-lose ng five pounds. Sakto lang.
"I don’t aim naman to be super skinny. Kasi hindi yun maganda.
“Yung healthy looking lang. Parang fit and healthy. Hindi naman kailangan na sobrang payat.”
GAINING BACK HER SELF-CONFIDENCE. Aminado si Ehra na dati ay nawalan siya ng kumpiyansa sa sarili.
“Oo naman. Before, talagang nawala rin ang self-esteem ko.
“People has been telling me, ‘Uy, ang laki mo na!' At alam ko rin naman yun.
“It’s just that I was really struggling in losing weight. Ang hirap naman talaga, di ba?”
Naapektuhan din daw siya noong nakakarinig at nakakabasa siya na puro tungkol sa pagtaba niya ang nagiging paksa.
“Oo naman,” sabi ni Ehra.
“The more people are telling me that, I really got depressed.
"Sabi ko, ‘Kailangan akong may gawin. Kung wala akong gagawin, hahayaan ko na lang ba?’
“At noong napi-pressure na ako, sinabi ko, ‘Hayaan niyo na lang ako. Gusto kong gawin ‘to for myself, for my career, at gusto ko rin i-reinvent ang sarili ko.’
“And I want to tell to everyone na kahit na mag-gain ka ng weight, puwede kang mag-lose ulit.
“Kumbaga, because of motivation and determination lang.
“Di ba, at a certain age, lumalaki ka, 'tapos hirap nang magpapayat?
