Muli na namang aktibo si Snooky Serna sa showbiz.

Si Snooky ay naka-kontrata na sa GRowL Entertainment kasama ang ibang mga baguhang artista.

Ang GRowL Entertainment ay isang bagong talent management na itinatag nina Girlie Rodis, Roselle Monteverde, Lily Monteverde, Attorney Alfredo Cruz at Leo Doiminguez.

Kahapon, July 20, ginanap sa Imperial Palace Suites ang contract signing nga mga managers ng GRowL Entertainment, kasama si Snooky.

NEW MANAGERS. Kung tagurian si Snooky ay "prodigal daughter" ng Regal Films.

Pero masaya si Snooky na muli siyang nasa poder ng Regal sa pamamagitan ng GRowL. 

“God is good. After so many years of being absent, especially in Regal  Films, fifteen years akong nawala. 

“Tapos, biglang this miracle happens. I’m just really grateful and what I can promise lang is I will really do my best not to disappoint GRowL  Entertainment and Mother Lily [Monteverde].

“At awa naman ng Diyos, yung mga dati kong bad habits, yung mga late-late, dapat hindi na nga i-mention kasi, past is past na. 

“Pero nawala na siya. And I don’t want to sound preachy o nagpapabait po, pero a lot of it has to do with my change of faith.”

INNER PEACE. Isa nang miyembro ng Iglesia Ni Cristo si Snooky.

“Well, I wouldn’t want to say na lang so as not to offend anyone, but I personally want to change...

“I’ve found my truth and I’m in the very good place and I’m so happy na siguro, nagkaroon ako ng banal na takot.

“Now, I’m thinking twice before doing anything. Ngayon, dobleng isip-isip bago magdesisyon at wala ng lovelife. I choose to be single.”

Para namang nilagyan na niya ng tuldok ang tungkol sa lovelife.

“I think, if it’s God’s will, it will be forever. Then, okay lang sa akin. I take that, I accept that. 

“I would rather be alone and happy than be with someone and then be miserable.

“Di ba, it’s contrived, ha?  Pero, ako lang naman po ito.”

REGAL BABY.  Si Snooky ay isa mga orihinal na Regal Babies.

“I practically grew up in Regal Films and I’m very, very grateful talaga kay Mother. 

“At kay Roselle, kay Girlie at kay Leo that they gave me this big blessing. 

“All I can do is to give back yung trust siguro, na ibinigay nila sa akin ngayon and to really wish them well. 

“You know, talagang I can only pray for them.  They have been so kind and supportive all these years.

“Kahit pa sabihin natin na hindi sila openly na nagsu-support para sa akin, pero, they have always been the wind beneath my wings.”

Maganda ang aura ni Snooky nang humarap ito sa entertainment press kahapon.  Sa edad niyang 46, halos walang nabago sa kanyang mukha.

“It’s because siguro now, I’m really, truly… walang showbiz ito as I always say… I have peace in my life.

“I really, really have peace na to the point of being so serene.  That people sometimes mistake it na parang sasabihin nila, ‘Sad ka ba?’

“Pero hindi, hindi yun, e.  Chill lang ako—cool.”

“Mas gusto ko pa nga, like sa taping, hindi naman sa nagbubuhat ng bangko.  Naghihintay ako sa set kesa sa ako ang hinihintay.

“There are perks also on being on time.  Kasi, people treat you with respect and I feel the genuine liking. 

“Hindi yung ngingitian ka, pero, ngiting aso naman pala kasi, alam nilang nagmamaldita ka.

“But gone are those days.  Finish na yun.”
