Nakapanayam ng PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) ang young actor na si Dominic Roco sa promo ng bago nitong indie film, Ang Nawawala (What Isn’t There).

Ito ang unang lead role ni Dominic sa pelikula.

Directed by Marie Jamora, na siya ring sumulat ng script with Ramon de Veyra, ang Ang Nawawala ay official entry sa New Breed section ng Cinemalaya 2012.

Kasama rin sa cast ang kakambal ni Dominic na si Felix Roco, Boboy Garrovillo, Marc Abaya, Annicka Dolonius, at Dawn Zulueta.

Ano ba ang kuwento ng Ang Nawawala?

Ayon kay Dominic, “Yung story ng Ang Nawawala is about a young man who doesn’t speak, kasi may nangyaring traumatic experience nung bata siya na he witnessed. 

“So from there, I chose not to talk.

“It’s my first full-length film and it’s the biggest project of my career so far.

“The cast was really fun to work with, sila Ms. Dawn, sina Sir Boboy.”

Ano ang challenge sa kanya ng kanyang role?

“With this character, this is the most challenging role that I have ever tackled. Kasi hindi ako nagsasalita, kaya I had to double the effort.”

FIRST-TIME DIRECTOR. Kumusta ang first-time director niyang si Marie Jamora na nagdidirek na ng TV commercials and music videos?

“Perfectionist ang director namin, which I like. Kasi tutok siya sa movie niya, which is good, which is tama. 

“Sana lahat ng directors ganun. 

“Each scene, they discuss, they talk about it. What’s wrong, what’s right.
