Lindsay Lohan has been involved in a car accident.

The actress got behind the wheel of her black Porsche Panamera after a shopping trip in Beverly Hills, California, on Wednesday (July 25).

While she was driving down the popular Sunset Boulevard, Lindsay reportedly tapped the back of a silver Mustang that wasn't moving.

A woman in the Mustang said: "We were sitting at a light and somebody hit us."

The female claimed a male passenger in Lindsay's car apologized and left his phone number, before telling her they had to keep going because paparazzi were following them.

The Mustang's damage appeared to be extremely minor and cosmetic, according to website TMZ, but it is unknown if Lindsay's car suffered any damage.

The 26-year-old star was thought to be travelling from a Chanel boutique to the Chateau Marmont hotel in West Hollywood.

It was the same vehicle she drove when she had a massive crash on the Pacific Coast Highway last month.

Following that crash, Lindsay was taken to a hospital, and apparently later told a friend that the crash was due to a mechanical failure.
