"If she’s happy that way, it makes me happy as well,” sagot ni Derek.

Dagdag niya, “I feel good. I moved on.

“You know what? It’s not easy to forget six years, and I definitely will never forget.

“That’s a lot of memories. And every now and then, mapapa-look back ka.

“But then, our paths just didn’t end up the same way, and I’m very happy where I am right now. And I’m ready to meet new people.

“I’d love to meet new people, and let’s enjoy life."

Dagdag nito, “My dad said it, ‘The day you’re born is the day you start dying.’

“So, might as well…what you do in between that, must matter. So, you gotta get on your feet and ipagpatuloy ang buhay.”

Sa mga nakakakilala kay Derek, alam nilang malapit na malapit ito sa ama at malaki ang papel ng ama sa mga desisyon ni Derek sa career at iba pang bahagi ng kanyang buhay.

Isa sa mga naitanong noon kay Angelica sa presscon ay kung nagkakausap pa ba sila ng ex-boyfriend.

Binanggit ng PEP kay Derek ang sinabing iyon ni Angelica.

“You know, I’d love to see Angel and talk to her face to face, or even a phone call,” reaksiyon naman agad ni Derek.
